Their dryer had ignited while they were sleeping. A neighbor had called 9-1-1 after seeing the flames and told the firefighters on scene where to find the nursery and they were able to get to Casey in time.
“If you don’t want to, that's ok," Eddie said. "It's a huge responsibility, but don’t say no because you think you won't be good at it. You’re amazing with Chris and you're practically his second parent. I was a teenager when I became a dad. If I can figure it out, you can.”
“Eddie, you called me last week upset because you feel like you don't have the parenting thing figured out.”
