Summary
It’s strange how memory works. Some things are remembered as if they just happened yesterday, while others are quickly forgotten. After writing I Fell in Love with Two Brothers I started thinking about what experiences shaped me growing up. I started writing down the names of friends I was sexually active with as a boy. (Changing some of the names to protect real identities) Each name had a memory attached to it. A memory that shaped who I was in I Fell in Love with Two Brothers, so I took those memories and built a story out of them. I figured that people who enjoyed that first story might enjoy this one too. This is a big story, with over 550,000 words spread across 56 chapters, and 20 different friends I shared a bed with. This story is complete, and I will publish two chapters a week until it is fully published. I will put a note at the end of the chapter if that was the last appearance of the secondary characters. They met after months, it was casual, Mike managed to tell him that he loved him, but the topic switched off easily…So, they took a deep breath and began running as fast as they could, leaving Hawkins behind, leaving all those horrible memories that littered that old, deeply sick city. They ran with difficulty, their breaths muffled by uncontrollable laughter and smiles. Breathing rapidly and hearts pounding in their chests, they ran and ran, until they were so exhausted that they felt their breath give out and they almost fainted. They turned in unison, their hands still holding, Hawkins now just a dot in the distance. Was it the end? Or was it just the beginning?
