Hanbin wishes he could crawl into the nearest hole and die. Can this night get any more embarrassing? Silly? Silly?
“T—That’s what vampires do. They kill and eat humans.”
“That’s really rude,” Gyuvin frowns. He runs his thumb over Hanbin’s bottom lip. “If I wanted to kill you, don’t you think I’d have done it already?”
Hanbin supposes that’s true. If a vampire really wanted him dead, he’s sure that he would have been eaten long, long ago. At least, Gyuvin wouldn’t have entertained their nightly chases for so long if he wanted to kill him.
“I’m sorry,” Hanbin finally says after a few moments of thinking. “I guess—I assumed."
“You should be sorry.” Gyuvin pouts. “This whole time, I thought you’ve been courting me."
“Courting you?” Hanbin almost chokes.
Hanbin is probably the worst vampire hunter in the history of the profession. Gyuvin just loves to play with him.

This drives Spencer crazy, so one night, on the glorious day of Halloween Eve, Spencer takes Benji to a haunted castle to finally find evidence of vampires' whereabouts in the town after all, with the hopes of slaying one that night.
When entering the castle, Tristan alerts Benji and Spencer through the walkie-talkies, warning them not to enter. Too late!
