I started writing things down a long time ago.
How many days it rained, how many cracks existed in the steps outside my house, and then- once I graduated from the Academy- how many people I killed. By the end of everything, the number was 437. Over half of them were for him. I want you to know that.
You, whoever you are, I suppose, I just need you to hear the real story.
It isn’t pretty. Or even clean. Most parts I’d rather leave buried. But I’m an honest man now. And honest men don’t keep secrets.
My husband taught me that.
So I guess I’ll start from the beginning. Before the beginning- technically. Back when some jackass named Tom Riddle was the biggest thing we had to worry about.
Until Fenrir Greyback killed him.
Then the entire fucking world went mad… And I was a part of it.
A huge part of it.
A monster.
A madman.
A murderer.
A pretty, violent creature.
