Summary
December 2007, little Jayce Giopara made a friend who would change the course of his life from then on. Unfortunately, his devotion to his genius Russian-Zaunite friend leads him to making hasty and illegal decisions to keep his friend from crossing the line. Viktor's memories are now blurred in his mind as if spilled ink was stained over his story. However, an unexpected visitor from another timeline attempts to intervene.
Jayce Talis did not shoot his Viktor in the commune; instead, he waited twelve years in hiding for the end of the world. He believed that the pain would disappear once he joined the hivemind, yet he awakened in a new timeline, vastly different from his own. Setting a plan to kidnap Viktor and "save" him from both Giopara and his own Glorious Evolution.
What did Giopara do to Viktor? What will Talis do to Giopara? What is the creature in Giopara's lab? Is anyone in their right mind? Probably not.

“You’re—“ No, that’s not the way to say it, Jayce thinks; it’ll set him bristling. “I thought—“
“Yes,” Viktor cuts in, bristling anyway, the ease in the soft tilt of his head undermined by the tension along his throat, the stiff set of his shoulders. “Will that be an issue?”
Jayce’s jaw clicks. “Nah. No problem with that.”
“Good.”
Viktor says it like that’s it. Like that’s that. Like that’s the subject squared away and put to rest. Like Jayce isn’t going to be thinking about whatever the fuck is going on with that for the next five business days, because he can’t stand discovering something so terribly fascinating and not knowing how it works.
Jayce, plagued by an uncharitable reputation that he doesn't work well with other alphas, finds out afterward that the enigmatic beta he meets on Progress Day is not, in fact, a beta. This certainly will not pose any issue whatsoever.

“It was a good dream.” Jayce reassured the ‘dream’ Viktor, before finally shutting his eyes for good, and he was back to sleep once more, as if nothing had happened at all.

“I do” He confirms, trying to stay very still.
“So what, now you want like a midlife crisis degree?”
“A midlife crisis degree is not a thing” He points out “And I don’t need the spot for myself”
“Then who is it for? I kind of need to know if you want me to do something about this one”
“It is for my daughter” Viktor says, in a way so casual that can only come from years of practice.
“It is for your- your daughter?”
...In this one the hexcore gets out of hand and turns people into zombies. Our heroes solve the problem, except they don't actually solve anything, and the problem comes back after seventeen years of fighting, bitterness, and a teenage daughter Jayce didn't know he had.

Summary
After Jayce not so kindly shoots a hole through Viktors torso, Singed who still is at the commune decides to take Viktors body back to his lab, and fix him up. Anyone else would have mistaken that as fatherly love, but Viktor would have known it's for a personal reason, not for him. It's for his sister, Orianna.
After his transformation he feels like his mind is at everywhere and nowhere at once, finding it hard to focus on anything for a long time. Well he does have memories and voices in his head that are not his, so who could blame him. If he is even himself anymore. After Singed (Covin Reveck) is found and arrested by Piltovers forces couple years later, Viktor is once again face to face with the man who meant the world for him. Jayce on the other hand, still working on the Council and drowning himself in his works to get over Viktor, gets tossed with dealing some of Covin Revecks work, study it, figure out if anything is of use, and get rid of everything else.
