“Woah. What do we have here?”
Neuvillette startles, launching a spray of saltwater into the air as he uses his tail fin to slam to a halt. He stares at the beach where the voice originated, and the massive winged male standing alone on the sand stares right back.
For a heartbeat, all they do is stare. Tension crackles like Electro along rigid sight lines until the male blinks, snapping the connection. Freed from this strange tether of eye contact, Neuvillette pumps his tail and begins retreating into deeper water. Sparing a glance over his shoulder, he sees the male wading through the waves with both feet planted on the ground. His wings remain unused, folded snugly against his back.
He chases... but he chooses not to fly? Why?
A creature of the sea and a man of the sky learn how to reach new heights together.

Ze has wings. he hates his wings, so in suit. his wings are messy. like really really messy and Regect decides to help him because he wants to.
' “Dude your wings look like shit” Regect spoke, he wasn't wrong. The feathers were messy and it was clear there was debris in his wings, they looked as if a chicken got electrocuted.
“Okay fuck you dude, your lucky to have even seen them” Ze’s wings puffed, only further showing how unkempt they were, he dragged them towards himself before Regect softly placed his hand on one, causing Ze to tense even more.
“No-dude, I mean that literally. They look like someone threw feathers on a bone and called it a day.” Regect explained, his tone carried a slight hint of worry. “Just- just let me help you preen cause I know you wont do it yourself lazy-ass.” Regect huffed, encouraging Ze to stretch his wings back onto the entity’s lap in his own way. '

Grian scoffs, "Yeah, cause we have all the reason in the world to trust you." Grian's body trusts him — his mind doesn't, has no reason to see him as anything but a dangerous foe, one that has killed him multiple times at this point, but his heart rate calms at his presence, his fight or flight dulls to a whisper, his hypervigilance focuses in on an us. Protect us, it screams out, no care in the world for protecting him from Scar.
Scar trots further into the room, "Exactly! I've done so much for you guys, I even kept you safe during your whole sleepy episode."
"Right, and you did such a good job at that. Remind me, how many times did you blow me up? Two? Three? I wasn't exactly around to keep count."
