"Pardon me?" His voice sounded hollow, taken aback by that sudden revelation. Was it so surprising, though? After all, Luis may be gifted in terms of looks, yet, musically, he was a disaster. An elephant in a chinese porcelain shop.
Then again, Leon's favorite animal were elephants.
I got inspired by a popular serrenedy fic I read a couple years ago, I wanted to create one with my own twist. Hope I don't regret this in like, 10 years ^^

Leon.
Blue eyes, still as sharp as the day you had first met him, and just as capable of making your heart skip a beat in your chest, of your breath to catch in your throat. He had always been beautiful, not just in his appearance but who he was too. Once, it was a soft innocent kind of beauty, the one that came from wanting to help - and now it was something deeper, almost twisted. It was unfair, really, you used to think beauty was made for softer things.
Clearly, Leon Scott Kennedy was the exception.
It was infuriating.
You blinked as he tilted his head into a nod, professional and complicated. Anywhere else and you would have rolled your eyes, maybe let a comment slip free, but now your mouth remained shut, and your eyes moved to look at the person who was snapping your name.

But the universe throws him a bone— the man who runs Rockfort Island just so happens to be fascinated by child prodigies and has some beliefs and biases that Luis can use to his advantage, saying all the right things that will keep him in Alfred Ashford's good graces and, by extension, alive and (mostly) unharmed. Hopefully he can last until an opportunity to escape presents itself…

“Well, it’s a little game where you pick a spot on your face that’s ‘poisonous’- whether that be your lips, your nose, your eyelids, what have you- and you keep that spot a secret. Then, you get your partner to kiss every part of your face, and after each kiss, you tell them whether they’re safe or if they’ve been poisoned. Your partner does the same to you, and whoever doesn’t get poisoned first, wins.”
“Sounds complicated…” Leon stared at Luis. A man of theatrics; his Don Quixote never lost his spark or imagination even after all these years. It was one of many, many things Leon loved so dearly about him.
“Sure, what the hell. I’m down.”
