His head was throbbing painfully when he came back to. Blood kept rushing to his head and it made him feel even dizzier than he already was. He fumbled with the seatbelt for a while and was eventually able to unbuckle it. It had kept him secured to the seat, and now he fell the very brief distance with a muffled grunt. He was able to realize that the windshield was broken and that there were shards of glass all over him.

Tommy then called out for the first time, holding his head and realizing that his hand came back bloody. Well, that explained the constant pain he felt.
