What if in the climactic fight with Alpha, rather than Lan fighting alongside Mega-man he has to fight with Bass. What if instead of Mega-man staying by his side he perishes and Bass takes his place. How would this effect the story-line and interactions with everyone. They will be starting their 9th year of school rather than it taking place in elementary. There will some romantic plot-lines throughout as well. Inspiration for this will come from both the game, anime, and manga as I want to build upon the world itself. The game however will be the primary source of content. There will also be changes to arcs and events to match their aged up counterparts.
