What a horrible turn of events.--
This story takes place during "The Honorable Ones" S2 Ep17. Though specifically after they escaped the cave, are finding shelter behind a rock and after they've had a chat. Between, "Zeb, short for Garazeb. I know." and when the Ghost finally arrives. What could have been going on within that time frame?This is totally a (mainly) Kallus POV, but as I go through the story I'll add in different POV's to spice things up some more. Things will stick with the lore (most of the time) and continue through to his Rebel era obvi <3

The original story for this was orphaned as well as the account that wrote it. I will be continuing it here. I have the original posted in the comments of the first chapter and will be working on moving the original story to my account as well. All credit to the dark side of the moon belong to Orphan_Account. But everything after is written by me.The original story premise was about Sabine and Ezra meeting sooner in the story, however Ezra was trained as an Inquisitor instead of living on the streets. His parents were actually dead, and from what I understood he was about a year older than in the show.

After joining the rebellion, Kallus’ life changed for the better. On Yavin, he found a cause truly worth fighting for, people he cared about, and a position inside Intelligence where his skills were put to good use. Things were good. He had no desire to change any of it.
Only, it seemed that change had simply been waiting for him.
Strange things began to happen around Kallus. Things that didn’t make sense. Things that shouldn’t be possible. But as there were more important things to focus on, he rationalized it all away and pushed it out of his mind. This held true until the moment he watched Zeb about to die at the hands of the Empire, prompting Kallus to somehow do the impossible - and without meaning to, take his first stumbling steps down a path he never would have believed was meant for a man like him.

Triumph on Lothal! After five years, the Rebel Alliance, led by the crew of the Ghost, emerged victorious over Grand Admiral Thrawn and the Galactic Empire.
These events were documented in a television series known as Star Wars Rebels, broadcast for the enjoyment of the citizens of Earth.
One of these citizens, Jacob Gray, watched the show eagerly, often imagining himself fighting alongside Ezra Bridger and company- although ever getting a chance to would be ridiculous...right?
By some miracle, he's been thrust into this world right at the start of the show, and he's got to grapple with the fact that his favorite fictional characters are now real.
