The snake is a symbol of longevity in the Abregado system and fertility on Felucia. In Corellian lore, the snake represents a journey, and its serpentine form can be found in the ancient script that predates even Olys Corellisi. On Atrisia, where snakes are rare, the snake is considered a harbinger of uncommon good fortune, as opposed to Ryloth, where the snake is such a common dæmon that depictions of snakes are considered passé.

On Mina-Rau, Bix wants to raise her son in peace while the Empire's influence still looms large over the planet.
Other major characters include Dedra, Wilmon, Leida and Alexsandr Kallus (from Star Wars: Rebels)
This is our vision of a continutation to Andor which explores the same themes of moral ambiquity and political corruption.
The setting diverges from official canon regarding the New Republic era in several places. Everything from the films are canon to this fic, but with a mix of elements from Canon, Legends and Star Wars: Visions added for good measure.

"I want you, Mon," he said, his voice dropping to a possessive whisper. "And what I want, I eventually have. The only question left is whether you will come to me willingly, or if I will have to burn down everything you pretend to care about until I am the only thing you have left."
It wasn't a threat. It was a statement of fact. A promise.
Mon opened her eyes, and the fear was still there, but now it was mingled with a reckless, defiant heat. "And if I said I might be willing?" she breathed, the words tasting like treason on her tongue.
