They didn’t talk for a while after that.
Grace has a complicated relationship with sleep (and himself). Rocky enforces a bedtime (and Grace treating himself a little better).

Even Wyll, although still human by birth, had that infernal pact and demonic blood flowing through him, letting him push beyond reasonable limits. Regardless, they could all operate on far less than Gale knew, in the marrow of his bones, that he needed. He had always needed more, and he was painfully ashamed of it.
Gale, as a human, needs more sleep than the other party members. He chooses to ignore this fact because he doesn't want to slow them down. His body, however, can't keep pushing forever.
