It’s strange how memory works. Some things are remembered as if they just happened yesterday, while others are quickly forgotten. After writing I Fell in Love with Two Brothers I started thinking about what experiences shaped me growing up. I started writing down the names of friends I was sexually active with as a boy. (Changing some of the names to protect real identities) Each name had a memory attached to it. A memory that shaped who I was in I Fell in Love with Two Brothers, so I took those memories and built a story out of them. I figured that people who enjoyed that first story might enjoy this one too. This is a big story, with over 550,000 words spread across 56 chapters, and 20 different friends I shared a bed with. Nobody said finding out that the arguably most important figure in Quirked history is a traumatized teenager would be easy.
