When he was twelve, Link fought Tabuu alongside one called the "Hero of Twilight".
When he was thirteen, he fought in a war.
When he was still thirteen, he met an alternate version of his brother from the war.
When he was thirteen still, he fought against the light.
He missed all the heroes he'd met, but he never thought that he'd seen them again; it was a hopeless concept, after all. Or perhaps not, seeing as he met... almost everyone again.
OR: Wind has been through all the Smash Bros. games past Brawl and Hyrule Warriors. These memories may or may not impact things a little.

Wind feels as if he has been running for far too long. Running from his youth, running from those bad memories, running from those problems. He knows he can't run forever but maybe just... a few more steps.
OR
Wind falls ill whilst the Chain is stuck in Lorule in the midst of a food shortage. The worse Wind gets, the more they start to realize that there has been something far worse going on with their Sailor. But he's not the only one keeping secrets, and as tensions rise and ideas clash, Sky does his best just to keep the chain together.

Summary
Hylia throws Wild and Warriors in the middle of a bokoblin camp where Wild gets a concussion (?) and while trying to fend off the monsters and keep Wild safe, Wind appears out of nowhere, somehow manages to carry a heavy claymore, and swings at the monsters by balancing his weight and the claymore's weight and spinning around. The thing is, he doesn't know how to stop spinning and ends up flinging the claymore into the unstable walls of a cave behind them, and it collapses atop them, crushing Wind's spine, Warriors' foot, and Wild's light.

“Wind, I’m being serious!”
“As am I.” Wind said as he read the back of the carton of chocolate milk before tearing the top and pouring it in the bowl. Sky felt himself getting sick from the abhorrent sight of what Wind considered “breakfast”.
OR
Sky tries to warn Wind on his unhealthy eating habits. while Wind mistakenly takes it as Sky's hostility in him. However, neither of them are able to listen to their own selves first.

It gets annoying being treated like a kid. Wind is a hero too, after all. He’s done his fair share of battling evil demon kings and growing up.
At least, that’s what he’ll portray.
Wind is an older sibling. He knows how important it is to need someone to dote on. He’ll take that role for his brothers.
I mean, it lets him finally be a kid, doesn’t it?
