Summary
Warriors didn't like that. He didn't like how Time knew everything, how Time was always there to help him. For once, Warriors wanted to suffer on his own, by his own hands. Time didn't need to know. Warriors didn't want Time to know.
Because if Time knew, then not only would he want to help Warriors, but also stop him. If Time knew, then Warriors was going to have his blade taken away, have his bleeding, gaping wounds get lovingly wrapped and covered to heal. And even worse, Time was going to hold him through it all. He was going to caress Warriors' frail hands, bring them up, and kiss them. He would have tears in his eyes, Time's voice would fail him as he would promise Warriors over and over again, just how loved he is. That he doesn't ever need to fall to this, and that Warriors is safe here. Warriors could already see that happening. He doesn't want that. He doesn't want his pity.
OR
Warriors comes to a realization.

Summary
Time has very delicate hands. He’s assuming it’s due to the excessive Fairy Magic he was exposed to throughout most of his life. Yet, he’s very grateful of this feature as he’s capable of helping his family with them in other ways than by fighting.

Summary
Link shivered beneath a blanket, arms huddled in close to this chest. He was half sure he was dreaming. His head ached, heavy like an overstuffed turkey. The green glow did not help. Hylian faces looked alien in this light, escaping the grasp of familiarity. He watched them for a moment longer, hoping the old man would be there among them. Then, self-pitying in his failure to find him, he let his head loll back against the pillow with a groan.
The pillow that shifted beneath him, to his mild alarm. A rumble of laughter met his ears, vibrating against his skin.
“Had a good nap?” came the old man’s voice, soft and amused.
Oh. There he was.

Summary
And if that wasn’t as bad enough, then the fact that nobody had cared enough to help Wild was even more troubling.
Nobody had ever tried to help him. Nobody had ever defended him, or pulled Wild to the side and asked how he was really feeling.
No. None of that. Wild knew that the others didn’t care about him, they never did. Instead, they just laughed at him. They laughed at how he was unable to fend off for himself, and never fought back, never said anything; Maybe they were right, maybe he was pathetic.
OR
Wild doesn't really like how the others are treating him.

Summary
It was either he ran away from it now, or pushed his stay, and had to eventually deal with the deep cut from Time kicking him out. He couldn’t handle that. Twilight couldn’t ever want to face such a fact from anyone but himself, let alone his own father.
The name stung, rolling off his tongue as though it was an expletive. As though he wasn’t ever allowed to refer to Time that way.
Twilight still thinks of the first time he accidentally called Time as his father. As the young and timid child he once was, one that was easily able to be scooped up away from trouble, and into the safety of Time’s arms. He’ll never forget how long the man cried, trembling and shaking as he turned his back to Twilight, not wanting the boy to see just how overcome he was with joy.
Twilight remembered padding over to Time, tugging on his shirt with a small fist, asking if he wanted a hug.
What happened to the sweet child you once were? Twilight stared at himself through the mirror, beyond the glass barrier and into the soul of the reflection. What have you done to him?
OR
Twilight wants to leave. He wants to outrun the pain... Does he?

Summary
Expressing exasperation, Time reached over to the accusatory offering and leaned back as he appraised it. Taken from an undisclosed restaurant, it was an advertisement, appointing to a house of horror.
“The Temple of Darkness?” Time quirked an eyebrow, dubiously reading the title clad in blinding red ink.
“It’s uhh…” Time watched in fascination as Warriors racked his brain for answers, in desperate search of upholding a decent-enough explanation that Time would even consider offering permission. It was visibly a great struggle, in which both those and words would vice him. “What do you call a-”

Summary
The Chain had a simple task before them: Hunt the black blood monsters that were attacking farms in the north before winter sets in, saving countless lives in the process.
Little did they know that this simple quest of theirs would turn out to be a waking nightmare as a conspiracy begins to unravel before their very eyes.
Soon the Chain will learn why Legend's timeline is in downfall, and why Hyrule's era is the way that it is.
(A mostly Legend-centric story that tells the tale of the downfall of the Downfall Timeline. It wasn't just the Fallen Hero that caused it all, no, it was something far greater than that. A conspiracy, a cult, and a plan to save the world that went horribly, horribly wrong.)

Summary
Even so, Wild decided to have kept his memorabilia. From old gifts, to letters and notes, to even photographs.
While it’s been years since he’s revisited them, Wild was sure that the recognition may hit him like a freight train. But he had to.
It’s been long enough, he’s waited long enough. He can’t run from it forever, and Wild knew. Yet, he desperately tried to extend that wait of recalling as much as he could. And yet, he took today as a sign. Because if he didn’t get into it, then he was never going to do so, and the anchor was going to sink deeper and deeper as he went on.
He was getting tired of that weight on him.

Summary
“Wait.” Time gave the order without thinking, holding out a hand to the others. “Let the kid go.”
“He bit me!” Warriors’ tone was somewhere between indignation and shock.
“Yes. Stand down.”
Reluctantly, they all watched as the kid disappeared into the trees. For a moment, there was silence, as they all tried to process what had just happened.
“… What the fuck was that?” Legend asked into the quiet.
“A child of the forest,” Time told them all softly. He knew in his gut, in his soul, in the heart that had never really left that village in the Woods. He knew. Like always called to like.
Wild glanced at Time. There was something knowing in his eyes. Something that knew, but was afraid to know.
Or: Twilight has vanished. In unrelated news, there's a child on the loose.

Summary
“Is everything alright? I saw you run off earlier.” Time asked, though there was no reply, as though Twilight didn’t even register the other man’s existence.
“Are you hurt?” Time pressed on, hoping that the invitation of a conversation may help with Twilight’s sudden silence.
Yet, there was nothing.Time fixed his jaw in frustration, stifling its predominance. He knew that Twilight was hurting in some way. Twilight was always extremely well spoken, receiving multitudes of praise and compliments for his outstandingly considerate usage of words and his constant politeness. Never was there silence.

Summary
“Do you think I could become a doctor one day?” Hyrule asked, voice full of curiosity.
“If you study hard and never give up, then sure!” Time replied. “You can be anything you want.”
Legend rolled his eyes, grumbling something under his breath.
Four trails near behind Legend, internally noting on the hitch in his gait. “You seem bothered.” They blurted out.
“No shit.”
Four winced, “No, I mean you aren’t yourself. Are you doing alright?”
OR
Time figures it's best to take Hyrule, Legend, and Four to the hospital to fix their spotty (and nonexistent) medical records. Of course, this is easier said than done. Because there was one extremely important thing that Time had completely forgotten about.
