Summary
Legend's fingers had gone partially numb long before the Links had reached this makeshift campsite, and are now tingling in a way that almost burns. Resting his hands palms-up on his thighs, Legend examines them critically. As he expects, the normal pinkish tone of his skin stops abruptly just below his middle knuckle, giving away to a sickly, green-tinged white. His fingers are bloodless almost all the way to the very tips, where they turned a darker reddish-purple color.
He sighs again, readying himself for a good half-hour of working the blood back into his hands before he can regain enough dexterity to properly help with camp. Using numb fingers to try and de-numb other fingers isn't all the effective, shockingly.
In which Legend has Raynaud's disease (not that he knows it) and Warriors lends a warm hand.

"Guys, look up there!" An excited Wind bounded over to them, "Look on the top of that mountain!" The two looked to where the Sailor was pointing. Hyrule noticed the rest of the Chain look too, Wind's voice carrying across the beach.
On top of the mountain was a giant egg. A giant white egg with purple dots.
Or...
The Chain ends up on Koholint Island.

Summary
He whined a little, nuzzling his head against Ravio's chest, mind latching onto the slow patterned thumping of the boy's heart.
Ravio mumbled something, though it didn't quite reach him. He instead focused on the gentle rumbling of his chest. Legend liked that.
His arms shifted, holding Ravio closer as tight as his sore and weakened joints could let him.
It was barely much, but at least Ravio understood enough to hold Legend back. He rested his hands on Legend's back, just how he preferred it.

Legend feels a little sore over the snowfall. Ravio helps.

The Veteran had integrated himself into their group seamlessly. As an experienced traveler with enough mental (and physical) mapping to rival Hyrule--who didn't pay nearly enough attention to distance so much as he did landmarks and the "taste of the air"--Legend had taken one look at the lot of them and known exactly where they were heading and exactly how to get them there.
They hadn't really realized it at the time, but Legend's "one look at them" had probably started long before they slammed the doors and pulled the shutters. He had probably been watching them for a while.
[or: Decades into an apocalypse that keeps most of the free world blind or dead the second they open the door, Legend has a deadly advantage. 'Deadly,' because the free world wants to put a bullet in his brain for it and because the terrifying murder-cultists want to recruit him as quickly as possible.]

"So," Renado cleared his throat. "I heard you haven't been feeling very well."
All eyes suddenly fixated on Legend. He felt like he might choke.
Stammering, his attempts at words gave out to a weak little noise that caught in his throat.
Renado hummed, while Time got a bit more comfortable on one of the seats, idly playing with his wristwatch. It seems that they all somehow collectively knew that they'd be here for quite some time.
"Have you been using your heating packs regularly?" Renado slowly approached Legend akin to how one would to a forest animal. At this very moment, Legend felt like one.

Legend had been traveling with the Chain for a while now, and of course they all got along. They shared a spirit, and they were practically brothers. They argued, they play-fought, they teased. Well, they did all that to each other, but not really to Legend, and he knew exactly why. It was because somehow, even the people who shared his soul didn't really understand him, and though he thought they knew that he cared about them just as much as they cared about each other, they didn't.
Alright, fine. If they couldn't see it for themselves, then he'd just have to show them exactly how much he cared, and he'd have to do it in ways they could understand. They didn't speak his language, but he was passable enough in each of theirs that he could say all he had to.
(Although, it was starting to get a little exhausting to keep bridging the gap with everyone else, going towards them but never having anyone to meet him where he was. It was tedious to keep bending over backwards and reaching out, and having no hand to catch his own. It was lonely, to have nobody understand him, not at all, and for him not to understand anyone but for them to all get each other so easily. He was tired. But he'd keep going for them.)Series

Legend rolls his eyes. Really feeling the love, traveler. I tolerate you too!
The wizzrobe sighs. “So nosy. Fine then, if you must know, he has a special affinity that I find quite delectable. I plan to make use of him.”
Legend stiffens. A special affinity? Delectable? Did she somehow sniff him out as a hero of myth? But if that were the case, wouldn’t she have come to the same conclusion about Hyrule?
Hyrule’s expression grows bewildered. Ah, so the strange phrasing also threw him off. That’s nice to know!
The wizzrobe clicks her tongue in displeasure, and Legend gets the distinct impression that her patience is beginning to wear thin.
“I crave magic, sweet boy,” the wizzrobe purrs, as if speaking to a child. “And he has enough to satisfy me for months.”
A chill settles in Legend’s gut. Gods—Is she going to harvest him?
