“Pity your previous sword couldn’t bear the full might of such power…” Ghirahim sighed, only to grip Sky’s arms with sudden fervor. “But I can, Link. I will grant you more strength than you could ever dream of, and you—you can give me a purpose.”
The thought was appalling. It was blasphemy. It was absurd. Did Ghirahim honestly think he would agree to it? “Never,” he snapped. He would never entertain even the thought of allying himself with such a malicious creature.
For just a blink, Ghirahim’s soft smile faltered, only to be plastered back on.
“It’s only fair, skychild,” he said pleasantly. “You killed my master.” His voice hardened. “I am now your right.”

Or: Sky is ecstatic to be back home, but his hopes are dashed by the reappearance of Ghirahim. The chaos of fighting black-blooded monsters and chasing the shadow is only made worse by a desperate Demon Lord who will do anything it takes to make Sky his master.

Which meant it was only a matter of time before someone did. No one expected it to be Sky, though in his defense, it really was an accident!

Summary
Sky turned around, half expecting to find a monster behind him, but he couldn’t make anything out in the darkness and rain. Maybe there was something Time could see that he couldn’t?
“Everyone!” Time shouted behind him, not taking his eyes off Sky. Sky blinked at him in nervous confusion, opening his mouth but then closing it. It was good Time was getting everybody else, right? They could help.
The trees behind him rustled. He startled, turning to see the rest of the group stepping into the small clearing, swords and shields reflecting off of their respective light sources. They surrounded Sky, and he was struck by the strange feeling that all of their cautious glares were directed his way.
...Did they not recognize him?-
Or,
Sky has an unfortunate experience with a lightning storm and undergoes some... changes. Everything goes downhill from there.

The sword was a copy of the Master Sword, for Link had no doubt of otherwise. The blade was the exact same, minus the Master Sword’s slight nicks and dullness. The hilt was a dozen times more similar, so much so he couldn’t even tell the difference. It was an upgrade. An upgrade his mind somehow willed into existence.
Link’s body tightened slightly, feeling a pinch of fear, yet even that made this discovery even more exhilarating. The blade called to him itself; he could virtually hear it whisper ‘take me.’ into his ears. How could he resist such a tempting request?

What if the chosen hero had two Master Swords?
Or rather, two swords that resembled the sword that seals the darkness. Only one is the real deal though.

Sky rested his head on his hand, eyes lazily following Four around as they leaped over strewn objects on the floor, dove between the dining room chairs, and hid under the Skycloth whenever the world got too big and scary for them.
Yawning, Sky blinked the bleariness out of his eyes as a fond smile crept on their face. Four skipped behind the couch, and a sharp gasp had cut through the comforting silence -save for Four’s excited footsteps- before Sky heard a loud thud, followed by a bitten-back wail.
OR
Four regresses from the stifling stresses of early morning. However, even under the fuzzy and comforting headspace, they still unfortunately face great struggles.

And right now, Wind was seething in anger. It wasn’t fair.
And he was getting tired of it.
He was tired of being spoken about behind his own back, and laughed at as though he wasn’t the very star of it. Acting as though he had no feelings or thoughts of it either, and this wasn’t his life that they were poking fun at.
He’s glad he ended up here, because it means that he fought for himself. And Wind would do it again.
