Link and Ghirahim argue.
They complain.
They threaten each other with blades, brooms, and words.
And Skyloft realises, long before the demon and the hero do, that this is less a rivalry and rather instead some odd form of foreplay. -

Link is moved from foster home to foster home ever since his parents died in an accident when he was 8. He is now 16, and hasn't spoken in 8 years. Deemed a trouble child, he has no hope of ever settling down or being adopted, until Gaepora takes him under his wing. Zelda and Zant are both excited to have a younger brother, and Link is happy to be apart of a family once again.
