Her calm composure buries an uncontrollable fire—a stubbornness that is both favoured by her battalion and the origin of wary scrutiny from her superiors.
But the uneasy stillness of the void that is outer space is shattered when a garbled transmission cuts through the silence—a call from the battlefield, crackling with the familiar voices of Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker. Currently in battle with a superior Separatist fleet near Christophsis, her two closest friends are trapped and outgunned. In spite of their usual tense bickering, the urgency in their voices is clear: something has gone terribly wrong.
With the transmission abruptly cut off and no information on the whereabouts of her friends, Tatiaya is forced to face the crushing weight of command—and the growing fear that this war could ask for sacrifices far greater than she had firstly anticipated.
