(A mostly Legend-centric story that tells the tale of the downfall of the Downfall Timeline. It wasn't just the Fallen Hero that caused it all, no, it was something far greater than that. A conspiracy, a cult, and a plan to save the world that went horribly, horribly wrong.)

Summary
The newest member of the ragtag group of heroes throughout the ages literally falls from the sky in front of them.
It doesn't take long for them to realize that he's not a fighter like the rest of them, at least not anymore. And that's ignoring the fact that he's a shy nervous wreck who clearly isn't used to being around nine other heroes with questionable social skills.
(AU where Wild is the last to join the Chain and he's not a swordsman like everyone else, but is instead a sorcerer because his chronic pain meant he couldn't fight with an actual sword anymore. He's got a lot of healing to go through with that, and the Chain will help him because he's one of them, even if a sorcerer Link wasn't what they were expecting.)

Summary
Time was their chain leader: that was a fact. And leaders always did their best to keep their team together. But Sky never realized how far Time would go to get them all back in one piece, especially him. It took Wind dying from a painful poison for Sky to realize that Time would do anything to keep them alive, even if it meant going back in time for what felt like the millionth try just for a chance to get them back home.

Time is in love with a disaster, is not sure what he wants, and is trying to decide all of this while trying to keep Sky and Wind alive.

Summary
It's been a long day and a hard battle. Everyone is worn out and tired, but sleep will be hard won... if it is won at all. The chain hunkers down for what they're sure will be a sleepless night. Except Sky. He's never had a problem with sleeping after all. And he's on first watch. Concerned for his brothers, he decides to play a lullaby from each of their lands to coax them to sleep. Or at least help them relax a little. To his surprise, it actually works.

I assign a lullaby to every person in the LU chain. (Now with a surprise second chapter with a lullaby for Sky!)

the camp, his hand lowering with each short turn, allowing the warmth of the moment to fill him. It was nice, all of them together. The feeling seeped slowly out of him as all of his distractions were on hold, in flooded the feeling he was trying to ignore. He looked down at his fox, pretending to continue his whittling.
It was hard to go back to his distractions as the overwhelming feeling of being watched.

Link has survived a 100-year coma, fought an uncountable number of monsters more than triple his size, solved puzzles meant to kill, helped seal a giant pig made of Calamity all the while having no memories of before and in the body of a seven-year-old—which, Link would like to state, 100 years ago, he had been a seventeen year old!
In which no one believes Wild isn't a child, despite some of the clear signs he inhabits.
(Were they simply in denial? Link wondered; sweet Hylia, he knew by his own experience he shouldn't expect perfect cookie-cutter warriors, but still! And they called him weird for his staring problem—yes he knows he lacks some social cues, thank you very much, but he's inclined to blame that on his first month awake and absolutely no memories to his name.)

But he's not going to survive being the new "baby" of a group of past reincarnations of himself if someone doesn't start taking him seriously.
(AKA: Wild gets hit with magic while teleporting, and in another world, the boys get warped through a corrupted tunnel. This causes their paths to intersect earlier than intended by Hylia as she scrambles to keep them from exploding during the switch, and some strange..."side effects" occur. Mainly, Wild being shrunk down into a body that is 110 years younger than his original, and no one believing him that he is 117 as he drags them across Hyrule to Hateno. Twilight also refuses to explain anything.)
