C'est le temps que j'ai passé, endormi, pendant que mon pays, mon monde était mis à feu et à sang par les armées monstrueuses de Ganon, le seigneur du mal, jusqu'à ce que la princesse Zelda parvienne à le sceller au cœur du Château d'Hyrule. Ca, c'est l'Histoire, avec un grand H. Et certains disent que c'est à moi qu'incombe la lourde tâche de venir finir ce que Sa Majesté a commencé. Seulement, je ne m'en souviens pas. Ma mémoire... Tout ce qui était important pour moi, mon passé... Tout s'est effacé, comme ça. Mon nom, c'est à peu près tout ce dont je suis sûr.

Ce projet est celui d'une réécriture à peu près fidèle de l'entièreté du jeu, ce qui, vous vous en doutez, risque de prendre un certain temps, d'autant plus que la durée de jeu minimum pour finir l'histoire est actuellement de 50h selon mes informations.

Summary
Following in the familiar parallels the Legend of Zelda series is known for, this story is just another blip in the timeline. But something’s…off.
Link has lived within the nomadic Razorbacks camp for all his life. He helps how he can, and everybody appreciates it, but all he’s ever wanted is to make the man who raised him proud; Ganondorf. But Ganon’s been acting strangely recently, distant; at least, more than he usually is. There’s a big change happening soon, and Link can feel it.
Zelda has felt trapped by her status since the day she was born. Her father, the King, has manipulated the masses into believing that she is the reincarnation of their beloved Goddess, Hylia. Knowing her father well, Zelda doesn't buy it, but being locked away as a tool means she can't do a thing about it. She’s been secretly training with Impa, honing her skills, and she'll need every advantage she can get.
Ganondorf has spent the last 15 years of his life trying to achieve a single goal: erase the one responsible for making him the monster he is. Nothing can stand in his way, not while he’s this close. The only thing on his mind is righteous retribution…and of course, how Link fits into Ganon’s prophesied death.

Summary
It was easy for Zelda's feelings and uneasyness to be dismissed as childlike tantrums. After all, she had it all and yet, there were many reasons for her to be extremely displeased. Her father's expectations (and that of the kingdom which he carried on his tongue) bore impossibly hard on her. Not to mention that sickly feeling bubbling up her throat when she looked in the mirror...
Link wished the King would be softer on the Princess. It would make his life much easier, although since he became harsher, coincidentally, Link made a new friend. So, all in all, it might have been worth it.

(Breath of the Wild) Link has had a lot of women interested in him. Mipha. Paya. Countless girls from villages and stables he’d pass by. Hylia, maybe even Princess Zelda. He’d help them. He’d share his courage. He’d make their friends. And yet, he was never interested in anything more than a friendship. And then some weird guy with a rabbit hood strolls in while Link is taking a much-needed break and disrupts a lot of things Link assumed about himself. Well, he's adaptable to change.

Link learns about his past, his childhood, his heritage. Somehow nobody knows why Link is the only Hylian (no explanation for real?) with the Triforce clearly visible on the back of his hand (come on, Nintendo) living in a treehouse in a small village at the edge of the kingdom. And nobody knows about his family either. OoT Link shares a similar fate, but at least we know his mom took him in care of the Kokiri before she (most likely) passed away. I know, the TP manga has its own plot about this, but I like to share my own fiction, too :D Also some Link/Ilia hints. Or more like obvious stuff. Take it or leave it. I you don't like (or even hate) their „relationship“ (because of her bossy attitude) you should skip that fanfiction.
