Six months had passed.
Six months since the city turned on its head. Since one stupid, immature, reckless…
Sigh.
Since one mistake nearly thrust the world into the Bad Future.
But it was fine now. The city rebuilt. People mourned. People healed. They moved on.
And if Leonardo still occasionally woke up in a cold sweat, copper sharp on his tongue and his breath stuck in his throat, well, he knew better than to try and hide it anymore, lest Doctor Delicate Touch come out in full force.
So the lower levels mirrored the upper ones, and slowly, but steadily, they all crept their way towards healing. Six months was a long time to be jumping at shadows, afterall. So the humans eventually calmed down, stopped looking for that queasy shade of pink. Or those telltale shades of Orange, Blue, Purple, and Red.
The government, however, did not.Or… the city may have moved on, but the government has not and questions about the near-apocalypse are beginning to be asked that the turtles would rather remain unanswered. Shenanigans ensue.

Mikey and Usagi exchanged a second look, which already promised complete disaster, so when neither of them managed a response, Leo walked over to the table and leaned over the child.
“Are you lost? You need help?”
Jotaro didn't even look up at him, fully focused on sucking all his juice through the straw at once, and when the carton finally emptied, he gasped for air as if he'd just drowned.

Summary
A year and a half has passed since the vile Kraang attacked New York unprovoked, and the turtles are slowly recovering. All have some physical and mental issues to get through, but they are all otherwise okay, until a shocking meet-up at Todd's treehouse changes everything.
There is another turtle, who has no memory of who he was before the Kraang incident, and he could be a potential secret brother. They also meet a grumpy teenage chameleon, who doesn't seem to like them and has untold secrets that hold a risk for even bigger problems in the future. Suddenly, the brothers are thrown into a new mission: find out who the turtle is.
Unfortunately, that may be a problem, for Raph struggles through visions from an unknown source, Donnie closes off and spends all his time researching for unknown reasons, Leo struggles with physical trauma and his new leader position, and Mikey has taken up to training with Draxum at an exhilarating pace.
As the turtles whirlpool with personal issues and untold mysteries of their new friends, there is something tunneling behind it all. With all that is going on, can the turtles solve the enigma of the mystic beings, or will they finally dig a hole too deep for them to get out of?Series
