Summary
New York is rebuilt and the Mad Dogs are back to their normal life. A chance encounter with a familiar looking mutant quickly leads them down another path to an earth ending threat, but it isn't their world that needs saving this time.
A story that follows unraveling the mystery of a sister counterpart being displaced from her dimension as the Rise brothers and their family endeavor to lend their aid. In pledging to get her home, they also promise to help solve the crisis her New York is facing, leading to many encounters with both old and new faces. A new set of siblings, a new set of circumstances - one big family coming together to face their greatest threat yet.
Heavily focuses on themes of learning to love oneself, forgiveness, overcoming trauma, and strengthening familial bonds. Features many Rise-ified characters from various iterations, insert artwork for specifc moments (chapters 18, 24, 31, 39, 50, and 76 currently), and is planned for four major arcs. Arc One spans chapters 1-18, Arc Two chapters 19-49, and Arc Three chapters 50-68. Arc Four is ongoing.

I wanted to explore what Raph TOTMNT version of Raph, the one most exposed to the internet and being groomed, would be like. This fanfic doesn't seek to romanticize or normalize this type of thing; I try to write with realism and respect (since, thank God, I haven't suffered grooming or any sexual abuse).
I wanted to experiment with this because I feel that Raph, now being a public figure in New York, and him and his brothers being loved for saving it, are going to have their own fandom or admirers, and like in every relatively large fandom, there will be their weirdos (and Raph will have to experience that firsthand). -

It would be heroic, epic, and would fit his vibe well. Besides, he loved Woodkid, and this song has been one of his favourites for approximately 6 years already! His brothers groaned in unison, making jokes about it, cause why would he wanna go out in such a sappy way?
Later on though, Donnie looked at him, like... really really looked at him while Raph and Mikey fell asleep next to them. "Don't go away soon" the youngest whispered, patting Mikey's head in his sleep. "As cool as that song would be, we still need you yaknow.”
Leo promised he is not planning to go. They're young, just barely turned 16, they have a whole life ahead of them. When the time comes, when he is a lot older and less afraid, it would be epic to have a heroic falldown. But, he doesn't want to go yet.

Leo was always known by his family as the obedient one. It was strange, because it didn't really match up with his character. He complained about doing work, but he never slacked. He acted more important than anyone else, but he remembered every word you said and followed instructions perfectly.
It wasn't a real problem for most of their lives, but then, of course, they became tied up in "saving the city", or whatever, and now Leo was more dangerous than ever. It was annoying that their enemies always got a hold of him, though. -
