Now he has to learn to navigate the peculiarities of this new place and hope Master won’t find him.

“How kind of you to join us,” said a man in a black suit, someone Donnie only recognized from videos: Agent Bishop, head of the Earth Protection Force.
“You took our brother,” Donnie replied. “You didn’t think we were just gonna let that slide, did you?"
Though less common than the Knight’s Opening, the Bishop’s Opening is a solid first move that gives you an array of options if you’re a sharp player with a fondness for tricky games. With this opening, the player uses their first move to put their bishop in control of the center of the board.
Likewise, Agent Bishop and the Earth Protection Force have placed themselves front and center on New York City's stage, but when you keep making mistakes, the spotlight isn't always a good thing.
And kidnapping Hamato Leonardo was one massive mistake.

“I will not let them hurt you,” Splinter assured, patting Raph’s cheek with a gentleness he didn’t show very often, and Raph’s heart only sank further. “I will not.”Raph took a breath and nodded once more. Dad wouldn’t lie.

He blinked. The slider wanted to jolt back, to scramble off the bed and flee from the room. From the rabbit speaking words he’d buried in the back of his mind and swore to keep submerged. But frankly, Leo didn’t have the energy for any resistance. He just let the words wash over him, an unstoppable wave.
He kept staring at the rabbit until his vision became blurry and all he could see was white fur and red eyes gazing back at him.
His voice came out shaky as he protested. “I have to. I’m still an officer, there’s still work to be done. I can’t just–” He breathed. “I have to keep smiling. For Casey.”
Yuichi just smiled at him. It was a sad smile. “Casey is not here right now.”
Or: Casey has never experienced a proper holiday, and Leo worries the holiday season won't ever feel the same. Luckily, a certain rabbit is around to help.

Even in her somewhat "normal" life, things can get a bit crazy when she and the boys run into a teenage human thief who is also a new girl at APirl's, and her father is even a cop, causing the group to start investigating the girl. However, maybe they should have looked into the family friend. Oh and there is a bird, yokai, flying around but hey who cares, it's New York City after all.
