It might have gotten started on a rough start, and there was that whole thing with the time loop, but all things considered Team RWBY’s vacation to planet Earth has been going spectacularly. They’ve made new friends, met up with a couple old friends, and gotten back a couple more friends in some frankly very strange ways.
Not that anyone’s complaining of course, Penny really likes having a body thank you very much.
But all actions have consequences, and business that most would think concluded may very well be far from over. Nobody said that being a Hero was easy, and every vacation must end by definition. Something sinister is coming straight at Earth from the depths of space. It’s time to get back to work.
At least they also never said that being a Hero meant you had to do it alone.

And he knew, regardless of what she was going to do to him, there was no way he was telling her she'd taken the wrong brother.
After the Krang invasion, the Hamato clan had a lot of healing to do. Wounds became scars, but the aftershocks weren't over. A face from the past showed up, ready and willing to destroy everything in her quest. Like a recurring nightmare, the team lost their leader to the enemy - in body and in mind. But unlike the Krangified Raph, Leo looked like himself, talked like himself, and thought like himself. Somehow, it made him seem further gone than even Raph had been. How could they convince him to come back when even he was convinced he was already there?

Quinn isn't sure if his humanity is slipping away. Every day is passing in a blur, and Donnie is a constant thought in the back of his mind as he, Mikey, and some new friends struggle to survive and help a new world that desperately needs their help.
