Summary
Leo didn't know exactly what was going on, but he knew enough. He knew that this Kitsune person wanted a time portal. He knew she had no idea which turtle had the mystic mojo to make one. And he knew, regardless of what she was going to do to him, there was no way he was telling her she'd taken the wrong brother.
After the Krang invasion, the Hamato clan had a lot of healing to do. Wounds became scars, but the aftershocks weren't over. A face from the past showed up, ready and willing to destroy everything in her quest. Like a recurring nightmare, the team lost their leader to the enemy - in body and in mind. But unlike the Krangified Raph, Leo looked like himself, talked like himself, and thought like himself. Somehow, it made him seem further gone than even Raph had been. How could they convince him to come back when even he was convinced he was already there?

Post-Kraang invasion, Rise!Donnie and Rise!Leo are transported to 2012's universe. Hijinks ensue.
This takes place Post-Kraang for the Rise boys. The 2012 boys are supposed to be 17/18, though I’m not sure when this would take place in the series as we’ve only watched up to the beginning of season 2.
An ongoing, long term fic written purely for fun, with multiple messed up, irregular and vague plot lines, and some minor original-characters.
Cowritten by me, Michal, and my sister, Totally_Legit. Credit for starting this goes to her.
Edit: I do however take credit for starting her tmnt career by introducing her to Rise.

“Alright. Now or never.” Raph says grimly, and they let go of each other’s hands and open their eyes. They don't look at Leo. Rude.
“If there are any spirits here tonight, we are searching for our brother, Hamato Leonardo.” Mikey says, reaching out to cup his candle’s flame. It smells like the ocean, and Leo can appreciate the use of blue candles if the seance is for-
The seance is for him?

It's hard to make peace with your death, but Leo did it anyway. To protect his family, to protect the world.
He finds it quite a bit harder to make peace with what comes after death.

As a matter of fact, he hasn’t heard Casey say a word since the kid was crying on the comms, begging Leo not to go away.
He glances over his shoulder at the back row of seats. Casey is sitting on April’s other side, hunched forward, arms wrapped around himself as if he’s staving off the cold. His eyes are glassy and freshly traumatized and Raph realizes he’s let something pretty important slip.
