    Donnie knew he wasn't supposed to explore the sewers on his own. But he was so sure he knew how to get to the junk pile on his own! All it took was a few wrong turns for the six year old to get hopelessly lost. There's only one thing that could possibly make this situation worse: being found by a human.

    Leo led the way the whole way there, but he stopped abruptly when they got to the entrance of the lair. “…How do you guy’s think Sensei is going to react to… this,” He asked, subtly gesturing to Mikey as he continued to occupy himself in Leo's arms.

    Raph and Donnie gave each other a side glance. “What if we… just.. don’t tell him?” Raph suggested with a shrug.

    While the brothers face the Krang, Mikey gets exposed to a mysterious chemical—an unstable retro mutagen. The substance transforms the teen into a small child, leaving Leo, Donnie, and Raph scrambling to find a way to reverse the effect. As they navigate this unexpected challenge, the team must protect their younger brother while fending off their enemies and find a cure to bring Mikey back to his original form.

Instead, all they could hear were frantic chirps, churrs, and whines. They silently inched forward, straining their senses to get a better feel of the situation.

    As they got closer, they noticed with guilty dread that the littler one was not moving.

    Alternatively:
    During winter, when the twins were just young turtle tots, Blue and Purple got lost in the sewers. One doesn't make it... but they both end up finding their way back home.

    This changes everything and nothing at the same time.
