Summary
Harry Potter died in the Forbidden Forest.
He remembers that part rather clearly.
Waking up six years old again was considerably more unexpected.
Harry has already lived through one childhood with the Dursleys, seven years at Hogwarts, a war, and far too many of Albus Dumbledore's carefully kept secrets. He has no intention of doing any of it a second time.
So he runs.
He expects hiding. He expects planning. He expects five long years to prepare before Hogwarts comes looking for him again.
He does not expect Gringotts to tell him that his magic is killing him.
Or that someone has been siphoning it.
Or that half of what he thought he knew about himself, his family, and his magic was wrong.
Harry wanted a second chance.
Apparently, he's going to have to figure out what the first one was hiding from him first.
