Charlie isn't sure how she hasn't noticed it before, but now that she's seen it, it is so obvious : Alastor is in love.
She decides to play matchmaker.
As always her ability to believe the best in people is both her greatest strength and her greatest weakness.

I feel like I should disclose that so far this is a RadioApple fic only because Charlie says it is, but she is really convincing.
Are they in fact in love? Some, including Lucifer and Alastor, may disagree.
But Charlie Morningstar believes in them, and the truth is in the eye of the beholder.
(I'm literally not sure how else to explain what my agenda is, but I plan to accomplish it in approximately 10 chapters)
(But also I thought I wasn't going to write any fanfiction for Hazbin Hotel and now I've written three chapters and it's already the longest thing I've ever written, so here we are)

Summary
Keeping the peace in the Hotel was proving more and more difficult for Alastor now that Lucifer had moved in, but he tried his best to remain polite and not try to kill the King of Hell even if he did keep destroying his property.
For his part, Lucifer was finding entertainment where he could by pissing off the red headed deer and watching him struggle to not lose his ever loving shit to remain in his daughter's good books.
However, when Alastor proposes at least a temporary truce to keep the Hotel safe, Lucifer begins to see the Radio Demon as more than a rival and perhaps a possible ally.
And when Lucifer organised an accidental date, well, maybe Alastor's mind began to change as well, even if he had never thought of anyone in that way before.

The photos on the screen change, from smiling photos of the three victims to a brutal crime scene. One girl was slouched over a kitchen table, surrounded by a pool of blood, face disfigured beyond recognition. A second girl laid across a sofa suffered similar mutilation, and the final of the three was posed on a bed, face equally ruined, a book stapled into her hands.
Derek’s eyes narrow, squinting at the image, “Is that…?”
“A Bible,” JJ confirms, “LAPD thinks it belongs to the unsub.”
“Actually,” Spencer pipes up, “A study found that 87% of American households own a Bible, despite only 67% identifying as Christian, so though the victims may not have been religious, we can’t outrule the possibility that—”
“There’s a name written on it,” JJ interrupts, looking bemused, “On the front page. Lucifer Morningstar.”
