Everybody knew that Cassidy was rarely by himself. Whether it was for a simple chat, some tea or coffee or a full-on meal, there was someone around. And people liked him; he was relatively laid back and easy going, a good laugh and unexpectedly quick as a whip.
On the other hand, the elder Shimada preferred to seclude himself from the group. He would rarely get out of the apartment and, if absolutely needed, stalked around the complex in hopes of some peace and quiet before it inevitably erupted into organized chaos.
Ever since he’d come around – with no small amount of begging of his younger brother Genji – he had tried to interact with the other residents as little as possible, with only a handful of exceptions. Crowley and Aziraphale just broke up. Some time passed before they met again, but in the middle the Second Coming is... well, coming. Aziraphale is now the Supreme Archangel, and Metatron is convinced he doesn't want to see Crowley again. So, the angel and the demon have to find a way to figure out their feelings and the next Apocalypse.
But things are very different from the last time: not only Metatron is involved, but even Satan himself. We will learn a lot about the Fall of Crowley and his past as an angel, a scar that is still hurting him. New Supreme Archangel's power will scare Aziraphale. And the ineffable husbands will have to grow up another supernatural Son of God while they try to manage all the rest. Will they succeed?

THIS STORY IS NOT FINISHED and probably never will be, but I'm really proud of the 39-ish chapters that exist, and chapter 19 has instructions on how to fold a fitted sheet (yes, really!), so I want it to see the light of day. At some point, I will at least post a SUMMARY of the intended ending.

“I have made changes, Crowley.”
“What, more tartan?”

“...What’s in the briefcase?”
“...Information,” Aziraphale answered. “You might find it useful.” He was barely even pretending to read his paper, just staring at it. Frowning. His entire body was stiff and tense.
“...Information, about what?”
“The Second Coming.”

They have no choice but to acknowledge their hidden feelings, while also having to deal with jealousy and misunderstandings when their pasts come back to haunt them. Who knows where their decisions will lead them, maybe even... heaven?
