Summary
On April 14, 1940 the workers of Joey Drew Studios all vanished without a trace. Joey Drew was the only one that came out of that studio, but he didn’t come out unharmed. Police did everything they can to find these people, but their investigation only came out cold. All they could find were empty hallways and lots of ink. When they tried to question Joey, he could barely give a straight answer, making the case even more confusing. For years the families of the missing workers were left with nothing but unanswered questions. Today those questions will be answered. This is the story of what happened to those workers.

Whilst Fain is grasped by the too-kind hands of Joey Drew himself, Norman Polk is witness to horrors and tragedy beyond his comprehension of which he dares not to speak upon.
With the looming worry of bankruptcy threatening to run the studios into the ground, the staff who all hate one another are forced to confront something bigger than themselves and their own hatred at every turn, and are caught in the cogs of their slowly decaying workplace.(Told through traditional first person prose - Norman and eventually Shawn POV - alongside a mix of multimodal techniques, including diary entries, medical reports, and shared memos).

Something I'm going to put here in the summary because I don't feel like putting it in the notes, this is... kind of a remaster. I say 'kind of' because I never actually finished Chapter 4 and never started Chapter 5. So not only do I intend to actually finish this idea for a Bendy fic eventually, I also want to remaster the first three chapters I wrote for this fic. Yes, I am aware of the irony of something related to Bendy having to remake its first three chapters, it's not lost on me. Also, if you enjoy the fic and want me to keep updating it, please leave a comment. Comments are honestly what drive me to update fics. Most of the reasons that I've dropped fics is because I get the impression that no-one's interested in it ;-;

Later, she gets recalled to Archgate Films to work on the same cartoon she had to abandon years ago, only to find herself trapped in The Cycle.
