A little story about how the Afton family came to be, to put it simply.
Just to clear up any confusion about the dates (and also in case I forget):
William and Evelyn (My personal name for Mrs. Afton) were born a year apart from each other, with William being born in 1944 and Evelyn being born in 1945.
Henry and Melody (My personal name for Mrs. Emily) were both born in 1945 as well.
This story takes place in 1963, when William is nineteen and Evelyn, Henry, and Melody are all eighteen.

“I hear you,” Aubrey whispered, looking away from him and out towards the town below them, recalling what Sunny had said about the accident. “It was just something stupid you did in a rush of emotions. I can relate.” She added on with a bit of a somber tone.
