Summary
In the late 2010s, human nature changes forever. Seemingly overnight, young people begin to develop supernatural abilities, powers once restricted to the worlds of fiction and fantasy. These powers, and those who wield them, come to be known as Awakened—and their appearance sends the world down a very different path.
War follows, as it always does. Wars for power, for territory, for the very right to exist. Centuries of Awakened battles stain the world with blood. Those with powers and those without find new equilibriums, new relationships, and new causes. Movements and empires rise and fall.
Over four hundred years after the First Awakening, a book is published. Purporting to be the most definitive history of the Awakened Age ever collected, it contains never-before-seen documents, original articles by leading historians, in-depth analysis of the classification systems developed to describe Awakened abilities, and more. Hailed by some as a landmark achievement in historical literature, lambasted by others for its controversial approach, the book is known as The Awakened Age: A History of the Superhuman Millennium, and like any work of history, it is only a tiny fraction of the story.

Summary
Dustin Henderson wrote numerous letters to Eleven while she lived in Lenora. Most never left his desk.
Years later, he finally reads them. Each one a record of things left unsaid. He recalls a time where he still had hope, where there was still a chance that one day he could tell her what she means to him. That chance is long gone now. We follow Dustin through these letters as he grapples with the death of the one girl he ever truly loved.

Summary
Shroud has been dealt with, the beer's mostly been drunk, and the sun's high enough in the sky that it's definitely daytime. And, considering the beat-down he gave the guy and the whole, you know, 'attempted murder' thing, Sonar's not surprised that Robertson wants a word with him in private now. Yeah, guy let him back on the team, but there's obviously going to be strings attached. Sonar got cut for a reason, after all.
(He did.)
((But maybe not for the reason he thinks.))
(setting: Sonar cut, Sonar rejoins team, hero Visi)

Summary
On screen, Kim Dokja looks at the floating countdown. I didn't get to die today and suddenly I'm in TWSA. In a cabin which story was never told in the novel. The novel that ended today, but never truly reached the end. I want to read, Kim Dokja thinks feverishly. I want to read the end. And to do that, I'm going to have to survive.
In the present, Kim Dokja was yanked up by the collar and faced the protagonist. It didn't even occur to Kim Dokja to get away himself, resigned to his fate. His head feels like it was stuffed with cotton, as if he breathed some sort of thought-annihilating mental miasma. The incoming violence was bound to happen.
"Tell me the truth."
Kim Dokja's eyes flew open. He had closed them with the expectation of getting his face caved in, not a question.
*
An ORV reaction fic where Dokja's suicidal ideation is a bit more obvious from Day 0. Kimcom, who had been whisked away into this space after the destruction of the Absolute Throne, watches Kim Dokja's past and realizes that he had intended to die during that fateful subway ride. Not knowing yet that the truth is even more devastating.

Summary
When it comes to Batman and Guy Gardner in the period of Justice League International (1987-1989) and following Justice League America, the one punch scene is the moment that influenced the lore the most. But I do not agree that
Batman and Guy hated each other's guts and thus the following text aims to show that there is much more nuanced relationship between those two characters than just simple animosity. -

Summary
Rumi has always been good at pretending. Pretending she’s fine, pretending she belongs to somewhere, someone; pretending Mira’s kindness doesn’t leave her aching, begging for more. A trip to the planetarium, a silent room, and a sound that shouldn’t exist unravel something she can’t name.
Stars scream, planets break; and in the middle of that all, beauty falls from Mira’s smile.

Wrote a rant about v!Apo earlier because someone made the mistake of giving me time to write it all out, and I wanted to elaborate and do the same for most of the others. Obviously be wary of spoilers for the whole series, and so be wary of human error, aka my memory isn't perfect so if you notice an inconsistency, please let me know so I can account for that and make this as accurate as possible. Last but not least, this isn't generally objective, this is 100% colored by how I interpreted this <3

Summary
Four forgotten voices from the Sack of King's Landing.
A cleaner scrubs the throne room. A merchant balances his ledgers. A grand maester justifies his silence. A Silent Sister buries the dead.
Each chapter is a standalone character study examining complicity, moral injury, and survival. Through restrained prose and fragmented perspectives, the anthology asks: What does it mean to witness horror and remain silent? To survive when others don't? To continue ordinary work in extraordinary circumstances?
Inspired by Hannah Arendt's "banality of evil." Literary fiction using ASOIAF as framework.
CONTENT: Graphic violence, implied child death, trauma, psychological horror. Literary style with experimental structure (ledger entries, fragmented prose, no dialogue in final chapter).

Summary
This is the continuation of my story: The Inner Light - HP Style. The first chapter is a summary of the previous story, so if the tags speak to you, you should be able to read it without too much confusion.
It is an exploration of the aftermath of the war, and how everyone deals with it. The main character is Severus Snape, who survived the war, but there will be chapters about other characters too. I needed some OCs to tell the story I wanted to tell because I didn't want to entirely rewrite canon characters to fit.
I address the changing world, try to find solutions to the most blatant problems the wizarding world has without making it too easy, and fokus on character developement and growth.
Alas, I felt writing a simple slice of life type story was boring as heck, so since I love torturing my characters, there are vicious attacks on Severus Snape, and they have to find out who it is. It turns out, there's more to it than the eye can see, and someone might lead a dark cabal to derail any changes in the wizarding world.
