Summary
A dystopian, canon-divergent, Robin Hood inspired twist on the events of Season 5.
It’s been two years since She-Ra disappeared, presumed dead.
Two years since Horde Prime usurped the throne.
Two years of the Galactic Horde sucking Etheria dry, the people suffering while he and his loyalists fulfill his medieval power fantasy.
It’s only Prime’s vanity, and Catra’s quick thinking, that’s kept him from destroying the planet utterly. She’s been playing into his courtly delusions and promising information she doesn’t have, betraying Glimmer even as they’re starting to become friends. Hiding her real feelings is a dangerous game— especially when Prime can see her thoughts every time he activates her chip— but Catra can’t let him figure out the identity of the people’s last hope: outlaws hidden by the dwindling magic of the Whispering Woods, robbing supplies from the wealthy Horde forces and giving them to the poor.
But when that blond dummy lets all those folksongs go to her head and risks it all for one stupid kiss, Prime devises a trap guaranteed to lure the outlaws out of hiding… with the women they love as bait.

Summary
Bow and Glimmer are childhood friends who grow up in the Horde. But everything changes when Bow makes the decision to leave and find somewhere where he fits in. He didn't want leave her but he wasn't happy. This causes Glimmer into downward spiral, where she feels like she has to prove to Bow that she can be happy without him. At the end of the day they are in love and try to fight every fiber in their bodies from admitting it to each other. With each of them on opposite sides of the war can they really be happy?
Basically Catradora, but less toxic and more sexual tension.

Summary
Adora, the Best Friends squad, and the Princesses have thrown the Horde back at the Battle of Bright Moon, but the war hasn't turned as far as they'd hoped. The Whispering Woods are still frozen. The Horde continues to rampage across Etheria. The Princess Alliance is stretched to its breaking point just trying to hold on.
Losing more and more territory, the rebellion comes to one inescapable conclusion: They need more help.
After much deliberating (And some bullying from a certain someone. You know who you are. I know you're reading this!) I've decided to upload my very first fanfic. Originally, this was never supposed to see the outside of my computer, but screw it, time to put myself out there!
Have you ever asked, "What would happen if unfreezing the Whispering Woods wasn't so easy, and the rebellion continued to be assaulted by the Horde? Oh yeah, and if there was also another princess who inspires... diverse opinions in the main cast?" No? Just me? Oh well, I wrote something about it anyway.

Shadow Weaver sighs “Bow, think about the good you would do. I’ve heard you refer to the Horde as your family-”
“The Horde is my family”
“Right, well, think of it as helping your family” she tells him “I took you in because I knew you would be good for something one day, this is it.”
Bow’s eyes shut tight. He has to do this. He owes it to Shadow Weaver “Okay, I’ll do it”
OR
Bow grew up in the Horde with Catra and Adora. When he's 18, Shadow Weaver sends him to infiltrate the Rebellion, befriend Princess Glimmer and get as much information out of her as he can. It should be simple, but when Bow actually meets the Princess, she's nothing like he expects and it has him questioning everything.
A series of scenes that feature both Glimbow and Catradora.

Bow isn’t entirely sure whether the embarrassment or the anxiety is stronger, all he knows is that he wants the world to swallow him whole right now “Um- I- I mean I did say that but I-”
Luckily, Glimmer doesn’t seem to take the comment too seriously, as she smiles “Well I should hope so, we are best friends”
And just when Bow thinks it’s safe to feel any sense of relief, Rowan opens her mouth again, and makes the world crumble from underneath him “I think he likes you in a more than best friends way! I think he like likes y-”
“OKAY!”
When Bow agrees to babysit Rowan, and she wants to have Glimmer over, he figures they're just going to have a fun night. What he doesn't expect is his 5 year old niece exposing him and all of his secrets... He's in for a fun time.

“What’s your name?”
He looks at her, a little confused “Bow”
“And what’s my job, Bow?”
His expression doesn’t change “Bartender?”
“Exactly, listening to people’s embarrassing stories is part of the job” she reassures him “And if you think your story is bad, trust me, I’ve heard worse”
Bow goes on a series of increasingly terrible dates, and in the process, becomes pretty good friends with a bartender. Fluff and humour ensues as terrible dating stories are exchanged.

They’d returned to Brightmoon late, and given tired goodbyes before dispuring to their rooms. Bow had taken a long shower, then headed to the kitchen to see if he could steal any snacks. But when he opened the door, he found Adora in the hallway, dragging a mattress behind her. She froze and flashed a smile when they made eye contact, but Bow knew her well enough to notice the way her shoulders tensed.
"Sleep over time?" he asked.
She nodded.

The look in his eyes is so intense, she has to look away, unsure of how to answer him. Instead she turns her focus to her aunt “Why do I have to deal with this now?”
“Because, dear, you always told the staff to tell all the suitors that you would be happy to discuss alliances once the war was finished”
“But I didn’t mean it!” She yells without thinking, cringing at how silly that sounds.
“Well, it’s not like any of them knew that” Casta replies in an unfairly flippant tone “And now that the war is done, they want to cash in”
In a second, there’s a comically high pile of letters in front of her. Bow grabs a few of the letters frantically “I- Huh- When- Since- What?! ”
Bow and Glimmer don't say 'I love you' during Heart, but they find their way to each other anyways. Featuring a bit of jealous Bow because why not.

Bow can’t help himself. He leans over and kisses her and it’s everything he thought it would be and more. Bow feels Glimmer’s hand begin to trace his jaw as she tentatively kisses back. But then, far too quickly, she pulls away, eyes wide as if she can’t believe that just happened.
“What are you doing?”
“Kissing you” he says, leaning in again because now that he’s had a taste of her lips on his, he knows that once is definitely not enough.
“But we’re not soulmates” she creates some space between them before his lips can meet hers again, and Bow has to do everything in his power to not just pull her back to him “I thought you wanted-”
There are so many things he could say, so many ways he could express his feelings for her, but ultimately, it all comes down to one sentence. So he briefly silences her with a kiss, and he hopes she understands just how much he means it “All I want is you”
Glimmer searches his face for a few moments before saying quietly “Okay”
And then she kisses him again.
How did Bow and Glimmer become friends with benefits? The prequel to the soulmate au that no one asked for but you're getting anyway.

(Day 1) Future: Bow is away from his wife and his daughter, missing them like crazy, so what does he do? Watches all the videos he has of them, much to the dismay of the other royals who just want to start the meeting
(Day 2) Beach day: Glimmer wants to spend the day on the beach with her best friends and her new boyfriend. But people can't stop flirting with Bow, and he literally has no idea. But she has a plan.
(Day 3)Superhero: Being a hero is hard, and all Bow wants to do is just a get a good night's sleep-but that can be pretty hard to do when Glimmer, his crush, is in his room saying she knows his big secret, and worse, he has no idea which secret she's talking about.
(Day 4) Missing Scene: The war is over and Adora just wants her 2 best friends to get together already- Oh wait, they did, she just doesn't know it yet. Aka, Adora finds out her ship is canon.
(Day 5) Sleepover: Bow is a spy from the Horde, sent to befriend the princess. It's his first night in Brightmoon, he realizes Glimmer is nothing like he expected.
(Day 6) Myths: Hercules AU. Bow tries to save Glimmer from a dragon- but she doesn't want to be saved.
(Day 7) Hurt/Comfort: Glimmer has a nightmare, Bow is there for her. -

"But you haven't asked any questions"
Bow thinks that Glimmer's gone on a date. He doesn't handle it very well.
