Adora loves her family, and she loves her job. She doesn't love when her family forces her to do things take a vacation right before one of the most important launches of her career. The last thing she expects from this unwanted trip is to run into a ghost from Christmases past.
Catra has never been good at letting anything go. Hence her impulsively buying the Christmas tree farm from her childhood to save it from closure. But when the farm miraculously brings Adora back to her, she knows this time she will have to find a way to say goodbye gracefully. After all, Adora is only here until the holidays.

Many short, mostly discontinuous scenes encompassing before, during and after the canonical series. The scenes are arranged into themed acts, and in chronological order. Before the story will be a preface, detailing the layout of the story, and a skeleton timeline.
This is essentially a story about losing control. It is Catra-centric, bittersweet in general tone, and there are consistently several narrative threads running at once (i.e. keeping track of the story requires some brain space).
I would say it's a 20:70:10 split of fluff : angst : other.

As Adora looks out from the highest point in Brightmoon Castle, she doesn't see the sunlight glinting off of the ocean waves. She doesn't hear the chattering of the citizens below her going about their day. All she can sense are the ghosts of her past, and the whisper of a promise long broken.
Force Commander Catra, the greatest military leader the Horde has seen in decades, the architect of a dozen campaigns of conquest, is dead. The Princess Alliance, more importantly She-Ra, has to decide how to react to this development in their war. On one hand, the Horde just lost what may have been their greatest asset, the person almost solely responsible for their rapid advance across the continent. On the other hand, Adora is faced with her reopened wounds, and the prospect of a future without her former best friend.
She would never let herself dream that halfway across the continent that same Magicat is waking up to a new future of her own. A struggle for survival, and a journey to find some kind of peace with who she is and what she's done.

“The patient is Adora,” Netossa winced as she spoke. Catra paused.
“You’re fucking- no,” Catra stammered in disbelief, opening the door to the operating room. Catra wasn’t squeamish- she was a surgeon, for God’s sake, she’d seen it all. But Catra flinched as she saw her wife on the operating table, gashes scattered across her body, her head bloody and her eyes shut; unconscious and unaware of just how wounded she was.
Adora was a wreck, her head covered in wounds and face pale as a sheet. Adora’s clothes had been cut open to access to her chest, Catra’s favourite dress of Adora’s torn in two to reveal her bruised and bloodied chest. Catra’s gloves had already been put on, she was in the gear, and the shift cuts meant that Catra was the only cardiac surgeon available.

Adora is perfect. Well, she’s trying to be at least, but it’s hard to under all the pressure, and she’s lost the love of the sport. Or maybe just lonely after her last mistake made her lose her best friend. In fact, she’s wondering why she’s still doing gymnastics in the first place when Catra suddenly returns and for the first time in forever, Adora finds herself challenged, in more ways than she was ever expecting.

Adora doesn't move her hand, but she keeps her touch light enough that Catra can pull away if she wants to. "If you don't feel the same, it'll be alright. But I need you to know." Adora will put on a brave face, even if the thought of not having Catra makes her want to die.
Catra's holding her, one arm wrapped tightly around her waist. "I—fuck." She curses, her voice charged. "Adora, you're my miracle. I can't believe that I found you against all odds. And if I had the chance to save the whole world from these stupid worm aliens but I'd have to give you up—" She sighs. "I wouldn't do it."
Adora's heart thunders in her chest at the declaration. "That's wrong." She points out, but she's smiling as she does it.
Catra smiles back, eyes warm. "Super fucked up, but no less true."

Adora enrolls at Brightfall University to escape the pressures of fame and experience normal college life. She deliberately maintains a quiet, unassuming persona to avoid drawing attention to herself. Soon after arriving, she befriends Bow and Glimmer, who bring out her naturally energetic personality when she's comfortable with them.
Meanwhile, she becomes the target of the campus mean girls, led by the striking Catra. Catra is used to being the center of attention and is irritated by Adora's apparent indifference to her. Their rivalry intensifies when Adora begins outperforming Catra academically.
The turning point comes when Adora witnesses Catra being harassed by a group of men with bad intentions. Adora intervenes, revealing her fighting skills and her understanding of the local language as she protects Catra. Though she doesn't expose her She-Ra identity, Catra sees enough to become intrigued by Adora's mysterious capabilities.

She-Ra Lancer AU
20 years ago a ship fell out of Blinkspace and crashed into the planet, this ship was the Horde's of Purity. Containing a Clone of Harrison, and a small contingent of soldiers and mechs. Using this he conquered the nearby territories including the Scorpioni Kingdom and the Kingdom of Halfmoon taking prisoners.
The Planetary leaders, a loose alliance of nobles who pilot ancient mechs that predate the first colonial war and the history of them has been long forgotten. Alongside more traditional mechs of the Sorcerers Guild and armies of Etheria attempted to fight back only to end in a stalemate after the Mech Illusionary Grasp piloted by the King of the Largest member of the Coalition was destroyed and it's pilot killed.
The war has been at an effective stalemate for the last 18 years, until a younger up and coming soldier in the Horde's armies named Adora goes on a joytrip and discovers a vine covered mech in the woods, seemingly made of Marble and Gold and calling out to her. -
