Lara smiled and shook her head as Sam walked over to the breakfast tea laid out by the butler. It took the guy until noon to prepare it, but that was to expected of a man who was probably older than half the relics on display in the manor.
"Happy New Year yourself," Lara replied. "Sleep well?"
"Yeah, but that bed's so big and cold," Sam replied. "It would be so much better if I had someone to share it with."
