This is really just a Stan Pines appreciation fic, he gets to be a girl dad, and we all know that he should be.Andromeda Pines is scared most of the time, Bill is a terrible stepdad, I repeat do not let this triangle into your house!
At a point this goes from third person point of view to first, reader sees through Andy's eyes.This is a long one, I love this character and can't stop writing.

Summary
After getting back from sea with his brother, Stanford, Stanley himself has a whole shitload of things to do. Including, legally give his brother his name back WITHOUT all the legal baggage. Of course, thats as complicated as it sounds.
Stan though, luckily has a lawyer. A man just as shady as him, and actually able to translate legal paperwork into basic human english. His name's Don, Don Crooks. A handy lawyer, and an even more handsy man.
What, did you expect Stan to have a NORMAL relationship with someone and it NOT be complicated? You're funny.
They've been at this game for years. Don and Stan have a normal client/lawyer relationship with a hint of friendship outwardly, and behind closed doors are practically attached at the hips. Neither are exactly happy with this, but its the way things are! No changing it now.
Till things do start to change. Don's tired. Tired of this cycle, and tired of being in an off and on with a man he doesnt know if he loves him or not. Both need each other. Both WANT each other, but its impossible to admit that, even to themselves. -

Stan didn’t know what he expected. Just a larger version of the kid he had known in high school, really. Sure they were identical, but Stan hadn’t been the person who looked like his brother in a long time. New scars, constant stubble, greasy mullet, dirty clothes, couple new teeth…He wasn’t exactly his best self. Ford seemed to be doing just fine, last he heard, what with his fancy house up in the Pacific Northwest wilderness, so he had assumed that he would be more…stable.
He noted his shaking hands, the relentless pacing he had picked up, back and forth through the room like a caged animal. He took in the unshaved face, the sunken eyes with dark shadows so deep they may as well be bruises. He looked pale and skinny, like he hadn’t been eating enough. Still, Ford stared ahead, hands clutching a book he had picked up during his rambles, eyes flicking back and forth like he was reading the blank air.
What was this guy so afraid of way out here?
In which there's slightly more communication when Stan first comes to Gravity Falls, and it makes all the difference.

Summary
Stan pines is drafted into the Vietnam war after being kicked out. He is forced to do and see terrible things. Stan is just trying to stay alive long enough to get back home, and make things right with Ford.
What Stan doesn't realize is that college will soon no longer be a reason Ford can't be drafted... right along with Stanley.
Maybe here they can finally make up. That's if they can find one another, and save the other before it's too late.

The screeching of metal and thundering of the portal reached a deafening crescendo, and Ford could see Stan open his mouth to interrupt, to say something, assent or argument or—
But Ford didn’t get to find out what Stan would’ve said. A particularly violent jolt shook the metal frame of the portal, and Stan, with a wide-eyed final look that Ford didn’t know how to decipher, slipped.

Summary
After a recent falling out with his assistant, Stanford Pines is left alone in his cabin with only his Muse to keep him company. He doesn't mind it so much. His Muse is a god, one he's all too keen on worshipping.
Stan Pines has been on the run for too long, so he's got one last option: visiting his brother. He didn't want to stoop so low, to be the one to break no contact first, but he'd exhausted almost every option. Even if he didn't let him stay, he hoped he could at least make amends before going to his failsafe.
This fic shouldn't be super long! I know where I want to go with it, but it won't update super regularly. The chapters will vary in length a LOT, mostly just whenever I can pull my thoughts together, I'll update.
Billford is tagged bc it's heavily prominent, though this is more of a Stan Bros fic than anything else. Just a heads up! There will be plenty of Billford as well :) -

Stan remembered hearing something once about the “Rule of Threes”: a human can survive roughly three minutes without air, three hours without shelter, three days without water, three weeks without food. He didn’t know how accurate that was or if it applied universally, but three minutes without air already sounded far too long when he thought about how quickly he needed to breathe again after holding his own breath. And those three minutes probably already included the time before unconsciousness, with the body only lasting up to three minutes before the damage became irreversible. So three minutes was the maximum before blackout — or death. And they were almost at that limit.
But no matter how hard Stan stared at the surface, no matter how desperately he willed Ford to appear… Ford didn’t come up.

A scene we've all seen with a fun new twist, Stan and Ford fight in the upper parts of the house. Who knows what could happen with all those uncataloged specimens just laying around the place?
Stan rushes to his brother's aid, only to have his hopes raised and shattered in the same breath, an encounter with a sadistic demon, and an anomalous experience that leaves him and his brother both younger and not at all wiser. Not necessarily in that order.

Winter in Indiana is a shithole. Especially for a bum who predominantly lives out of his car and precures most of his clothes from dumps. But Stanley can't complain too much, this is the first time in a while that he'd had an actual steady income for once, working in a dollar store Rico had bought - Yes, it was a front for smuggling drugs across boarders but no-one needs to know that! and according to Rico, Stan looked "Exhausted and Pathetic enough to seem inconspicuous to police" if they ever checked in, so it's nice to know his skillls are being put to good use.
College in Indiana is a shithole. The dorms are freezing, and with a winter like this, it was hard to want to do anything other than hide under your bedsheets and shiver. It was Fiddleford's turn to go and get some handwarmers, if they have any hope for surviving the cold lecture halls. There had been a long enough break in the snowfall for Fiddleford to trust the weather not to turn on him too drastically, so he decides to set out.
