He always expected to be found wanting, but Neuvillette merely smiled obscurely, his eyes sliding away to stare at the Wingalet once more. It felt as if some great beast had passed him by, a leviathan who had already eaten his fill.
Wriothesley found, as ever, he would not mind being devoured.
