However, the Count doesn't play into Virgil Zurn's designs for the deserter, instead extending a hand of hospitality to him. The vampire opens his home to Jonah for a short time, until he can figure out where to go from there.

I'm sad that there aren't many fanfics about the post-metamorphosis witch-hunters and that we still have no idea when the next episode will come out, so I took it upon myself to write this fic about my prediction on what I believe will happen next for our so-called heroes. When it is confirmed that the next episode comes out, I will stop working on this story, but will still leave it up just in case anyone wants to come back and read it.
