The only problem is that Ko wants her to try cheering up her Solari friend, Pyke, before they can get together. All she has to do is put up with an hour of the worst company imaginable, and she'll get to be with Ko.

This is the POV of my Original Character from my fic Beasts of Hope and Hunger.
Jonah Härkönen has just arrived at Castle Remornia, sent by his former High General to feed a vampire, Count Escher Krezkov. However, the Count doesn't play into Virgil Zurn's designs for the deserter, instead extending a hand of hospitality to him. The vampire opens his home to Jonah for a short time, until he can figure out where to go from there.

Summary
In the wake of a rising number of disappearances and murders, Sheriff Morgan is working to track down and stop the gang known as The Devil's Brides.
The leads are few and haven't led anywhere thus far, but Shepherd thinks he's finally found the one that will bring him to the Bride's doorstep to rain his judgment down upon them: A reclusive but gorgeous apothecary he suspects is getting blackmailed by the gang.
The fight may be bloody and difficult, but he has faith he'll be able to protect the people of his town and stop the beautiful Devil Strahd.

Summary
I'm sad that there aren't many fanfics about the post-metamorphosis witch-hunters and that we still have no idea when the next episode will come out, so I took it upon myself to write this fic about my prediction on what I believe will happen next for our so-called heroes. When it is confirmed that the next episode comes out, I will stop working on this story, but will still leave it up just in case anyone wants to come back and read it.
Also, I will be incorporating my own theories and headcanons, which is why it is tagged as canon divergent.
