Summary
It’s been ten years since the Inquisition disbanded, long enough for the Inquisitor and Cassandra to build a life together, of which the search for Solas is only a small part. All of that is upended when Rook disrupts Solas’ ritual and inadvertently frees Elgar’nan and Ghilan’nain, endangering all of Thedas. The scattered former members of the Inquisition come back together to face the threat, and Evelyn is thrust back into a role she isn’t sure she wants to return to. Now, she’ll have to save the world from someone she once called a friend, and decide if he’s worth saving along with it.

Summary
"I’ve never told anyone what truly happened to me at Ferelden’s Circle. I was… not myself after that. I was angry. For years, that anger blinded me. I’m not proud of the man that made me."
"The way I saw mages… I’m not sure I would have cared about you, and the thought of that sickens me.
Lyrium withdrawal and the realization that he's desperately in love with the Inquisitor has left Cullen raw. Vulnerable. The horror of his past keeps intruding into his present, and he can't help but wonder whether he's been carrying it with him in more ways than one—whether his desires are his own, or something darker that controls and compels him from deep within his subconsciousness.
He needs to address it: he needs to come clean in order to move on. But will he lose the woman he loves in the process? Will he lose her to something (or someone) else before he can gather the courage to act?

Summary
After losing contact with the team Rook lead to follow Magister Alexius into the south. Neve sets out to track down and possibly rescue her partner. Neve just wants to find Rook she did not sign up to be a religious figure, but when has the world ever cared what Neve wanted.
This not time travel it’s a massive au where Rook completed all of the companion quests pre-canon, and also got exiled from every faction mostly for the canon reasons.
I’ll probably make a separate fic that just summarizes Rook’s lore.
This is my first fic constructive criticism is appreciated but please be nice.

Summary
This fic was inspired by the video game Wanderstop.
Evara "Rook" Mercar, a former operative of the elite Shadow Dragons. Has walked away from a life built on blood, precision, and unrelenting usefulness. After a near-fatal mission and being forced into burnout recovery, Rook retreats to the remnants of her childhood—her late parents' tea shop, “The Veil & Vine,” long preserved by her estranged brother Solas.
Now, a few years later, she is Rook Ingellvar who lives quietly in the city's magical district as a tea shop owner. There she meets Professor Emmrich Volkarin, a respected forensic anthropologist with a gift for corpse whispering and an all-time tea lover. He is invited to Minrathous as a guest lecturer.

Summary
Magic is not a dog, eager to heel at your side and do your bidding. Magic is a wolf; wild and unpredictable, every spell cast is an exchange between the mage and a wild creature. You can only direct Magic, bottleneck it or flood it, but never ‘control’ it. That is the biggest misconception with mages. Those with great skill are either lucky, or know when to cut off their magical supply so as not to drown in the abyss.
When a little pawn makes it to the other side of the board, she becomes the Inquisitor. When a Rook unexpectedly takes the board, three elven gods move to intercept her.
What if Emmrich Volkarin was there from the beginning? He saw a promising young necromancer rise to the honored rank of Inquisitor, only for him to come crashing into another gifted mage fifteen years later. The world a little darker, a little colder, and their enemies hauntingly the same.

Rook was trapped in Solas's Fade Prison for exactly three weeks, desperately trying to get out. During that time, the team did their best to keep themselves together, but anger, grief, and restlessness often lead to tension. This is what happened in the time she was gone and how the prison affected her when she got back.
Lucanis POV for the three weeks Rook is in the prison, then multi-POV with Rook and Lucanis through the last fight with Elgar'nan and Solas.

Summary
Two decades ago, the Blight was ended by a legend. Now, as the Veil shatters once more, the Hero of Ferelden returns to a world that has forgotten the true cost of salvation.
While the people look to Marcius—the man they call Rook—as their new lighthouse, those closest to the Amell bloodline begin to feel the chill of a gathering storm. Behind the masks of divinity and the desperate decrees of the Chantry, secrets are festering. Memories have been stolen, old alliances have turned into cages, and the weight of a forced peace is beginning to crush the very people it was meant to protect.
In a game played by gods and monsters, Emmrich Volkarin struggles to find the woman he loves beneath the shadow of a growing ambition. But some burdens are too heavy for any mortal to carry, and when the price of victory becomes higher than the soul can pay, the only way to win is to break the world entirely.

Summary
Thedas has had many mighty heroes: brave noble warriors, tenacious mages daring the Fade, quick-witted rogues evading danger. These are the people who become legends.
This story is about someone else entirely — an elf from the alienage, the sole survivor of the Conclave, who really misses his Ma.
The story of someone who despite being a Herald, has no idea what the word means.

Summary
Dawes 'Rook' Mercar has long accepted that his life would be a grueling and bloody-knuckled fistfight. He dreams of a new Imperium, of slavery abolished, of the Venatori eradicated; but his blind vengeance for the murder of his mother muddies the waters of his intentions.
A chance meeting six months ago delivered him Scout Lace Harding, and impossibly, a reminder that goodness can still be found in some hearts. While he works through the brambles of his own mind, he asks her, selfishly, to wait for him.
In the throes of the Sixth Blight, his traitorous heart has other plans.

Summary
Varric Tethras found an outsider with a resume that might make the Dread Wolf listen, before Thedas pays for his choices. Again. This Rook is no mage, no Dalish, and no one’s idea of a savior.
A slow burn romance that asks if one person can truly save a world.
Multi-fandom crossover elements, but familiarity isn’t required. Setting is Dragon Age, Thedas.
78 chapters, complete. I’ve gone through so many drafts over the last 16 months I can recite whole sections.

Summary
This is a sort of retelling of the events of DAI with a focus on the Lavellan/Solas relationship. I aim to fill in some of the gaps, stuff that happened off screen, alluded at or mentioned. Or things I wish were shown. Example: by the time of Halamshiral, Solas casually touches Lavellan's back, both acting with a sense of familiarity. Implying, by then, their relationship has advanced to a place they are comfortable with casual touches. I want to explore these in between bits that got us there.
My story starts 3 weeks before the events of the Conclave and I intend to take it further after canon. (Post-Trespasser, possibly Veilguard) Canon Divergence will happen at some point. But I will do my best to keep canon compliant with most things until then. Even after, I will strive to be canon compliant with the lore, established characters and places. There will be a lot of Dalish and Elvhen stuff. And OC’s for Dalish clan members.
This will be in alternating POVs from Lavellan and Solas. Possibly others if necessary.

“What would Varric say if you did complain?”
Lilya pitched her voice low and put on a poor Kirkwall accent. “’No one wants this job, kid, but you’ve got it. Use what you’ve got: the team, their connections, and your skills. You don’t know when to quit, so keep going.’”
Lucanis allowed himself a quiet chuckle at her weak impression but nodded. “It’s good advice, save one thing.”
“What’s that?”
“If you don’t know when to quit, perhaps you need someone to tell you when it’s alright to stop.”
“But—”
“You’re no good to anyone if you push so hard you break.”
