Summary
Noura De Riva is the ideal Crow underdog — fighting her way through a difficult upbringing and a cruel Cuchillo house to be a high-ranking Assassin in House De Riva. However, this is made complicated when she screws up a major operation with the Antaam and ends up on a whirlwind adventure to save Thedas as “Rook.” On top of everything, her feelings for a certain handsome necromancer force her to confront her own emotions, her past, her present, her desires, and what role she wants to play in the life she has.
Generally canon-compliant longfic that I’m mostly just writing because it’s fun for meeeeee

Summary
Emmrich and Lucanis' lives took very sharp turns when they were orphaned. Emmrich was whisked away to the Crows. Lucanis escaped to the Mourn Watch. And yet, their paths crossed regardless. Up to this point Emmrich has been given a series of choices by those who would wield him, but when will he finally choose for himself?
From the Emcannis week prompt Faction Swap! Alternate Universe still set in Dragon Age time, but no Veilguard here.

Summary
Before she was the Veilguard’s infamous ‘Rook’ de Riva, she had just been ‘Rookie’—to Viago at least—the name always huffed in a rather annoyed and exasperated tone. It is in his House de Riva that she finds a family; in the Lighthouse that she finds companionship; and in the darkest corner of the pantry, that Rook finds love.
---
Rookie is on a fast-tracked journey to change the world, but she'll do it her way, one Crow at a time—starting with her surly guildmaster. Through every trial, their inexplicable bonds are tested time and time again, and challenges the heart of what it means to be a Crow.
Canon-divergent. Covers both pre-Veilguard events and in-game storylines. Crow-centric, with (un)healthy helpings of Viago de Riva.

“How does it feel?”
“How does what feel?”
“Being in his shadow.”
---
When you’ve lived through the end of the world, how do you move on?
For Rook de Riva, there was never supposed to be an ‘after' to this job. For twenty-two years, Rook was an Antivan Crow by circumstance, not by choice. When returning to the Crows having experienced another life proves a bitter pill to swallow, Rook is forced to reckon with the scars of her past long ignored. While walking away from certain death with her love at her side was an unexpected happy ending, the realities of a life with the First Talon of the Antivan Crows claws at old wounds better left untouched, and Lucanis Dellamorte is not without demons of his own.
When Tevinter's new Archon seeks out the Crows to eliminate the remaining Venatori, Rook is quick to jump at the contract, even as it claws at the darkest parts of her past. But there’s a thin line between dedication and obsession, and some truths can't stay buried forever.

Summary
“That has nothing to do with this.”
“Doesn’t it?” Marisol picks up her phylactery and turns it over. “For all that you resent Fulgeno, he is part of you. Part of your past, part of the reason your present is what it is. As the Circle is part of mine.”
She traces the runes with a blunted nail. “Why not eradicate the parts of our past that hurt? That were not ours to control?”
Viago scoffs, almost. There is something halfhearted about it, like he wants to refute what she says, but only gets part of the way there. It doesn’t matter— she’s already picked apart the pieces of any argument he might make.
Years before the Dread Wolf aims to take down the Veil, Teia recruits a thief (an elf, a mage, a spark) from the gutters of Salle—and gets exactly what she bargained for.
(Or: no one has told the Crows of House Cantori that they are not the exception to every rule, and Viago wishes that someone would.)

Summary
Reckless child. Troublemaker. Fool. As the carefree middle daughter of Vyrantium's first foreign-born magister (and also a particularly shitty mage), Miriam Taveric has acquired more unflattering titles and nicknames than anyone else she's ever met. But when a series of bad decisions leads to the death of another magister's son, labels her a murderer, and threatens to unseat her entire family from their hard-won position of power, her father's Antivan mother arranges a possible solution that could benefit both her own family and that of an old friend.
Unfortunately for Miriam, it means she's suddenly been pledged to House Dellamorte as a bride for the First Talon's heir: a man who's made his name among the Crows killing mages from Vyrantium.

Lucanis is confirmed as First Talon. Xiqaa and the remaining Veilguard attend the party.
You are formally invited to attend the Signing of the Black Ledger and the celebration of Lucanis Dellamorte’s confirmation as First Talon of the Antivan Crows.
The event will be held at Villa Dellamorte, Treviso, under the protection of House Dellamorte and with the agreement of all allied Houses.
Your presence, and that of the remaining Veilguard, is both a political boon and a personal honor. To that end, I have sent missives to all our former companions.
I eagerly anticipate your attendance and support.
May your feet be light on the path and your enemies’ deaths swift.—Lucanis Dellamorte

Summary
When Lucanis arrived at the lighthouse, Rook’s gaze inevitably found the little details that made him unique. She noticed the buttons on his shirt first—silver skulls shaped like crow heads. Then there was the silver chain around his neck, catching the faint light of the room and flickering with his every movement.
There was a quiet elegance to the way silver framed him, softening the harsh angles of his face, making the cold glint in his eyes seem almost tender.
He looked… unexpectedly lovely in silver.
It caught her off guard, this sudden realization. Lucanis was not a man given to adornment or display; he was careful, reserved, a shadow that moved silently between light and darkness. Yet beneath that careful exterior, the silver seemed to pull something from him that few had ever seen — something fragile, almost ethereal.
A thought came to her then, like insistent whisper: he should have more. More silver, more little touches of light to catch and hold in the darkness.
Yes. He should have more.––––––
Or: Five times Rook gifted Lucanis something made of silver, and one time Lucanis gifted silver to her.

Summary
Viago always told them to take every advantage they had when it came to completing their contracts, and so lust-drunk and soft-eyed became Rook’s favorite kind of target. All trust, no reflexes, and somewhat less screaming. Apparently, not everyone appreciates multitasking because their approach earned them a nickname they can't seem to escape.
Now, between saving the world, upholding the de Riva name, not staring too long at Lucanis mid-fight, and juggling who they were with the Crows against who they’re trying to be now… Rook just needs a second. Any second.
Preferably one where no one’s bleeding.

We encountered your agents in Hercinia. It seems the Inquisition and the Crows share a target. Our employer bears no love for Lord Enzo due to—well, let's just say it's a personal matter. Of course, I imagine your motivations have more to do with the man's Tevinter friends?
You know the Venatori; we know Enzo. Why compete for the man? Lend us your knowledge and the job will be done far more quickly. You eliminate an enemy, our employer removes a political rival, and we get paid. A happy ending for all involved.

Summary
You’ll stop me when you begin to hear this one, I imagine—two Crows walk into a market, and the punchline isn’t about killing. Oh, death is on the wing, assuredly; for assassins, it’s never far. The funny part—to Rook, at least—is the marriage of assassination and nationalism. Lucanis might find it funnier how quickly Rook can kill a conversation.
Rook and Lucanis discuss death, family, home, and flirt with the idea of flirting.
