Elsa sat on the wooden stool, unclothed and unadorned. Her nude body bore the beauty of a Greek sculpture carved from marble.
Eugene dipped his brush in a pool of paint as his eyes mapped the faint freckles dotting her inner thighs. Heat crept down his stomach and coiled between his legs like fire blazing through a forest. Focus, he told himself, lifting his paintbrush to his canvas and adding a breath of alizarin crimson to Elsa's chest. Yet his mind betrayed him by picturing the inhale she'd draw if his fingers traced the swell of her breast instead of his bristles.
Rapunzel's face slashed through his thoughts, complete with memories of her teaching him how to arrange the paints in his palette according to cool and warm tones. Guilt twisted in his gut like a knife, but lust--raw and gnawing--joined it. He thanked himself for not using her paintbrushes today and damned himself for feeling what he felt for a woman who hadn't asked for his desire.
