Elphaba had to leave, she was so tired and delirious that she was thinking ridiculous thoughts.

Ivan curls his fingers around the book Till is holding. He brushes his fingers with his own as he does so, lingering there purposefully, before he eventually takes the volume to rest it on the shelves. A sigh escapes Till’s lips, and only then does he realize he had stopped breathing.
