Except she didn’t. She didn’t die. She lived and then kept on living, far longer than any other human. Yaz couldn’t die. The Gods had spat in her face when she’d asked for her help and cursed her to outlive anyone she might come to love. And she couldn’t even kill herself to take the pain away because they’d taken her ability to die away as well.
Yaz is just trying to live a normal in London when she’s hauled back into the world of Gods, Goddess, and now, apparently, the end of the fucking world.

Yaz is an up-and-coming investigative journalist with UNIT. Only all her coworkers, save for two, hates her guts. Same old, same old. When she's assigned to write a puff piece on the Division, it leads her onto a trail of shady inventions and a disgraced inventor by the name of Jace Smith. Which would be fine, really, if Yaz hadn't met Jace in a pub all those months ago and began seeing her secretly. Nothing can ever be that simple, can it?

Princess Yasmin Khan had been raised knowing two things.
The first, is that the war will never end.
However when that was proven wrong, she learnt the second: That one day she will be the wife of the living Goddess of Gallifrey.
