James skipped a few notes, pretending he was waiting for the crowd to sing, when everyone there knew he just couldn’t hit them. Sirius’ charm was more evident than his guitar skills, even though they were pretty good.
That was theirs, and it was perfect for them. It fit them. Everyone knew, the moment they said they were starting a band, that it would sound like this: three boys determined to be the best of the best. Remus’ mouth curved at the edge as he watched Sirius with that thought.
