A body, cut in half, had been found in the reserve by two runners, and all units had been called in to search for the other half. It was the first time in many years that something interesting had happened in that city. Scott — his best friend — wasn't answering the phone, and Stiles couldn't wait, so he quickly changed into warmer clothes, put on his shoes, grabbed his Jeep keys, and hurried down to the door.
