Welcome to Sunshine and Woe, Book Two in the Friday’s Child series. It has been about a week since graduation, and Wednesday and Enid have the whole summer ahead of them before they have to come back to whatever adulthood, family expectations, pack obligations, and general consequences are waiting on the other side.
For now, though, they are bonded, blood-oathed, disgustingly in love, and no longer under Nevermore supervision, which is wonderful news for them and deeply unfortunate news for Europe.
This story is going to be a little different from Friday’s Child. Their love is not the conflict anymore. They chose each other. They know what they are. Now they get to figure out what forever looks like outside of Nevermore—with romance, danger, gothic summer chaos, suspicious deaths, historic buildings, international incidents, and Wednesday Addams being allowed far too much freedom with a passport.

When Craig gets caught in Tweek’s orbit, transfixed and transformed by the guy who can’t hold still long enough to be pinned down, the both of them start to believe for the first time in their lives that things might turn out okay. Craig knows there’s something bubbling beneath Tweek’s surface, some deep-seated mania he can’t touch, but everyone’s got demons – them, Stan, Kyle, Kenny, even Butters.
At the end of the day, Tweek isn’t the only ticking time bomb in South Park.

Although Lucas had just offered something similar, the words didn't seem to hold the same weight coming from Mike. Will's heart picked up as his eyes landed on the boy, who seemed oblivious to the sudden shift in the air. He was met with this familiar gaze — the one that made him feel like he was the only one in the room —, intense, focused, but also incredibly genuine. The others exchanged looks that Will couldn't quite decipher as Mike kept going.
