Summary
Will Byers had been in love with Mike Wheeler since before he understood what being in love actually meant. For years on end he told himself that was all it was ever going to be, one-sided, nothing more than two childhood best friends. Until after almost a decade of denying himself any hope, something shifted, and Will was forced to spend the years that followed cataloguing everything that could possibly prove all of his initial beliefs wrong. From lingering touches and held gazes to near misses and all the ways they said everything except the truth.
