Summary
Since the Byers had moved in with the Wheelers, Mike felt a promising sense of worth in his life. He and Will were finally together, despite all odds.
That is, of course, until he begins receiving threatening anonymous letters alluding to him being a cultist. Letters that very much imply that the town of Hawkins wants him and his friends dead.

i’ve missed you. it’s been a day and i’ve missed you. weird, right? or maybe not. it’s hard not to miss you - you said you’d miss the clouds if you left indiana, and now i find myself searching for your face in them (though i don’t know what you look like - but if i saw you, i’d know it).
you’re north, spengler, and everything in my life is a compass; it points to you, all of it.

Summary
“Fuck, Eddie,” Steve murmured against his skin, pulling back just enough to look into those dark, smoldering eyes. “You’re gonna be the death of me.”
“Only if you take me with you,” Eddie whispered back, leaning in for another searing kiss.
Just as the world narrowed down to the two of them, a sound cut through the cabin. It wasn’t loud, but it was distinct: a dull thump from the basement.
or the one in which Steve and Eddie are making out and hear a noise in the basement where the teens are sleeping. When they go down to check on them, they're gone.

Summary
“Mr. Emerson,” Mr. Widgers started, playing with the chalk in his hands, “I think you have a perfectly fine seat right there,” he pointed next to you, “wouldn’t you agree?”
Gareth glared at him exasperatingly for a brief moment, before shrugging and mumbling a quick, “fine.” He picked up his things, sauntering begrudgingly over to you, and tossing the things atop the desk so they’d slam. It earned a fair couple of snickers, and you just caved in on yourself as he threw himself down.
After a moment, Gareth turned towards you, a bit of both annoyance and hatred in his eyes. He scanned up and down you, before looking you right in the eyes and whispering, “since it seems as though we’re gonna have to spend a lot of time together, I just thought you should know that I really, really hate cheerleaders.”
You blinked, taken aback, “excuse me?”
“You heard me,” he spat, smirking. He leaned in, fire and pride in his eyes, echoing, “you heard me.” He then turned away from you, slumping back in his chair and pretending to focus back on Mr. Widgers.

Summary
Clover Wallace is eighteen years old when she leaves behind the familiar mountains of Colorado for the quiet, eerie streets of Hawkins. She moves with her father—once a respected teacher, now a disgraced man struggling with the weight of his own demons. He’s promised Clover he’ll stop drinking, get his act together, and be the father she deserves. It’s not the first time he’s made that promise.
For most of her life, Clover has lived in the shadow of his abuse—both emotional and physical. Isolated and manipulated into silence, she’s learned not to trust easily, to keep her head down, and to avoid forming close relationships. For the first time, she’ll get to know her aunt, Claudia, and her cousin Dustin, relatives she’s never met but longs to connect with.
Starting senior year as the new girl in a small town isn’t easy, but Clover is determined. She’s ready to figure out who she is outside of her father’s control. She wants real friendships, a life of her own—and maybe even love. There’s a certain local metalhead who catches her eye, and for once, she feels like maybe, just maybe, she deserves something good. -
