It’s nothing, he tells himself.
He didn’t hear anything weird. He’s just overtired. It’s past late and nearing early morning now. The clock above the soundboard reads 3:47 am. He would have been asleep hours ago on a night when he didn’t have a late shift.
And it’s raining outside, he reminds himself; the storm is why the signals are being weird in a totally normal way. If he heard anything, it was just a blip. An anomaly. That’s what Dustin would call it: an anomaly.
He has fully brushed it off as nothing— just an exhaustion induced auditory hallucination— and he’s preparing to cue up the next track, when it happens again, unmistakable this time:Static crackle and pitchy interference, like a walkie on a bad channel, and then--
“Wheeler? Dustin? Anyone, come in? Code Red. Please. This is Code fucking Red!”
Steve knows that voice. He'd remember it anywhere.

Summary
The summer of 1986 has officially rolled its way into the small town of Hawkins, Indiana. Here in this tiny town where supposedly nothing interesting happens... or so people thought.
Eddie Munson, previously known has a ''Satan worshipper'' and leader of supposed cult of ''Hellfire'' has had his name cleared from all charges of murder, in which people thought he committed.. Now lives his life free from the chaos of Vecna, the death of Chrissy, Fred and Patrick. But not everything is all sunshine and rainbows for Munson, that is where Steve comes in as Eddie's ''knight in shining armour''.
People could say that they have grown quite close since the incident in Hawkins, despite their past tense friendship in high school.

Summary
As April 1986 begins, the Byers boys and an exhausted El return to Joyce's home in Lenora Hills, having defeated Vecna. Meanwhile, Joyce comes back from Kamchatka – joined by Hopper and a certain Soviet traitor and former prison guard... The two men went through hell and back together, and they know too much.
As a deserter at risk of being found and killed by the KGB, and as a father and almost-divorced husband whose number one priority is safely getting his family into the United States, Dmitri Antonov isn't exactly in a great position to be meeting someone new.
Even so, he and the Byers' neighbor and good friend, an aspiring journalist who knows nothing about the Upside Down yet, are drawn to each other from day one.

Steve had been on a record of four years where his big feast was a measly frozen TV dinner and maybe a slice of pie—if he put in the effort to make his nana’s apple pie that year. And dessert was only a last year thing anyway. This record that he has, though, he had been set on not breaking. Prove some point. Take a photo for the scrapbook and gift it straight to his dad’s stupid office, maybe send a hard boiled egg, tell him to suck it.
Like he’d waste his precious minimum wage salary on something like that.

Mike Wheeler can't stop staring at his best friend. Not only that, he can't stop finding opportunities to show physical affection. They have always been very close, but ever since Mike and El broke up, his friendship with Will blossomed.
Mike can finally admit to himself that he loves Will Byers, but it's difficult to hide his love when his best friend is so perfect and acts almost as if he likes him back. But no, they're just friends.
They're friends when Will comforts Mike about his breakup; they're friends when they sleep over after parties, cuddling; they're friends when the Party finds out that the head cheerleader has a crush on Will; and they're definitely friends when they get wasted and they make out. And no matter how much Mike wants to be more than friends, it will never happen. All he has is the memory of that night, of that kiss, which is more than Will can say.or Mike and Will are both messes with a crush on their best friend, but they both deny themselves happiness, even though they do everything to get close without it being weird.

Unbeknownst to the rest of the group, Eddie is still alive – and he’s trapped in the Upside Down with Max. Eddie is changing, evolving. And though neither of them understand what’s happened, or why they are both trapped down there, they try to make the best of the dire situation. Unable to find a way home, they fear that they will be stuck in the hellscape forever. That is, until a strange blue door appears. -

Max turned in the direction of the headstone as well. “Why would seeing someone’s name on there freak you out so much, Will. Jesus, I thought Vecna had you and I don’t have your music with me. I thought you were about to die, and I wouldn’t be able to do anything about it.”

Will just then found his mouth very dry and a lump set in his throat. Suddenly, all the words in his mouth died and he simply stared straight ahead.
“Will.” Max said softly after a few seconds. “Who’s grave is it?”
Will forced the lump down his throat as he answered her.
“It’s mine.”

“I thought Mike the Knight never gets scared?” He suddenly chuckles weakly. It's small for someone who usually had a lot to say when it came to Mike, he wishes the sarcastic comments would come through again. It would wash away the pain and ever-creeping reality that they probably won't make it out of this.
Mike spares another glance at him, the slight grin across Will’s face easing the darkness around them both. “I thought Will the Wise sees all?” He counters his doomed thoughts with that missing sarcasm he was just thinking of, though it can’t help but come out weak, a quiet, “I’m terrified.” following behind.
They’re best friends again…yet now Mike can’t hide the craving for more. The unrealistic static called hope. He’s a fool, truly. A fool who can’t admit he’s in love with his childhood best friend in the apocalypse.
Mike Wheeler is a lovestruck idiot who waited too long to say so.

(At the time of writing this, Stranger Thing's - Season 5 has NOT come out yet! so this has nothing to do with the final season so yeah- I came up with this idea watching the 'First Five Minutes of ST S5 EP. 1 when we see Vecna put the Demogorgon eggs inside of Will's body, basically this is if one of these weren't a Demogorgon and actually a baby- Idk man. take this as you will)
